Any gains with this new driver?just installed the latest one last week
NVIDIA GTX 1660 TI
Tropics demo 1.3 benchmark :
driver 517.48 WHQL - FPS: 198.6
driver 522.06 dev - FPS: 202.6
+4 FPS. Not bad... plus get CUDA 11.8
War Thunder (1080P all settings Ultra )
driver 517.48 WHQL - 171.8 fps avg
driver 522.06 dev - 174.1 fps avg
+2.3 FPS also not bad
On my side, working well with rtx2060 and rtx3060. In games I have like 1-2fps less then R530 driver in latest insider but it is full working and stable and ifvyou care opencl does work in this. Any way much faster than latest official in terms of framerate performance. Depend on game and location you can see gains from 5% to 10% more fps, maybe in some titles more.
I love how @Neil79 is the forums nVidia guru nothing gets past him
I just install straight over the top and never had any problems. I use the "cleaned" version of the drivers as I only install the actual driver and physx driver and don't want or need any of the garbage that is in the official downloads.
Pretty sure he won't need to use it now, but iirc @TNA was using it when he was trying to get games to run the highest settings available within 8Gb.Looking for feedback on Techpowrups NVCleanstall, Does it offer any tangible gains in FPS or frame times etc... ?
522.06 installed without issues.
Run a few games let me know if the suggested few % fps improves if you get chance.
