Interesting they wait for all the 4090 reviews to go live before launching drivers that boost their old cards.

Same, don't know why anyone would need to change it.
Default shader cache limit is 4gb so some say there can be a benefit if the games cache method is ****, although this is only for <dx 12 iirc

I set mine to unlimited, if memory serves.

Default 4GB should be fine as my Nvidia DXCache folder shows only 143MB being used, may up that to 100GB anyway as it can't hurt.

The improvements for the 3000 series is very impressive for a simple driver update, Especially for the 3090Ti, 16% at 4K max settings in AC:Valhalla is a nice improvement.

If that's the reason for the uplift and current GPUs have had that processor all this time then that ****** me off when we could have had the boost at least 2yrs ago or more.
I might be barking up the wrong tree but it's bothered me ever since I read about it existing that it didn't seem to be enabled

I have been saying for years, Albeit with a tinfoil hat on, That we don't really know the full capabilities of the hardware we have in our systems or more specifically what's inside of it all, We only know what the companies tell us.
Stuff like the GSP and the sudden fairly meaty uplift in performance has me scratching my tin foil hat and looking at Jensen with a question mark over my head.
