**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

Release 560 and later drivers have a bug that can allow Resolve() to leak between command lists in D3D12, this can result in things as benign as MSAA not working, to full graphical artifacting, including stretching offscreen.

It may also be reflected in substantial increases to GPU Commit that are plaguing games such as Forza right now. (The recent crash after X minutes bugs are mitigated by providing a larger page)

Until they release said patch, the only way to fix this issue to roll back the NVIDIA Game Ready Driver to version 561.09. This version has no issues with iCUE and your CPU usage will revert back to normal levels. Once NVIDIA creates a fix, you can re-update the Drivers to the latest version and enjoy Black Ops 6 and iCUE without issue.


Seems the driver of choice is the 561.09 Studio drivers! I might roll back as ever since I upgraded the drivers, some games which were smooth have instances of hitch/stuttering

last 2 driver releaseses from nvidia have been buggy *****, 1st one was causing my games or programs to black screen and the most recent one ****** the transparancy settings so taskbar went solid black, ive rolled back again to 561.09 and will be staying here for the foreseeable future, cant trust nvidia to get their head out of their ass

Same here, just done a DDU clean wipe of the old drivers and installed 561.09 Studio using NVCLEAN. So no extra addons!

Did exactly this the other day.. been getting stuck pixels on one of my 4 AOC monitors so wanted to make sure it wasnt driver or GPU related but its still there, a whole line of coloured pixels at the bottom when full screening video or even just browser tabs, which then slowly fade away over time when I have nothing up on the screen.

DPD just picked it up as its off for repair now.

What a ballache process for an RMA though :rolleyes: glad its out the door now lol

Sticking with 561.09 again for now until they sort their **** out.

Yep, just tried it in Space Marines 2 and it's so much smoother!

Stick with 561.09 Studio's until they fix the issues I've mentioned above :)
I had to do the same, I play quite a lot of Warzone with friends and the amount of Direct X Error crashes I had with the later drivers was ridiculous. Rolled back to the 561.09 and all the issues are resolved.
 
There was a reason to update for a more recent version. Sure your aware of it though. :o

The vulnerabilities may allow an attacker with elevated privileges to execute malicious code or gain access to sensitive data.

Nobody else uses my PC so I feel pretty confident that my PC will be ok until they fix the issues in these drivers.

Switching color depth in Nvidia settings seems to be bugged too, is sometimes only applied after a reboot. And the Windows 11 24H2 auto-color-management features has once again disappeared from the system settings

Frame time variance is still regressed in Fortnite with D3D12 vs. 561.xx driver...

Not every setting has made it over yet, seems like they're doing a microsoft. Does it completely replace the control panel? Or can you have both installed? If no, I'd hate to lose any of the things I use in NVCP.

Edit: He's got issues with his NVCP that I don't, that delay is annoying AF, I don't have that at all. In fact my NVCP is faster than his app.
