whats weird is my monitor used to be gsync compatible for months if not years and with the latest drivers suddenly its not compatible, even though it still is.

The D models are specific china variants. They're not as powerful as the full fat versions to get around restrictions IIRC.

Has anyone used the new drivers enough to have an opinion on them? I'm always wary of updating drivers these days.

Stalker 2 still can't use the override. It's supposed to be able to support it, but it's greyed out.
This is with today's drivers and nvidia app update.
Starfield and Dragon's Dogma 2 can both use it (can select 'preset J' on the Super Resolution setting), and it looks miles better.

Installed these new drivers over the top of 566.14, all running normal so far, played half hour on DayZ and all seems fine in Windows (10) while running 4 displays.Wow, you guys answered that question far more maturely than I would've

i got this exact same message on a 4090My mate tried to install new drivers (he has RTX 3080) and got that.
Seems like Jensen changed the strategy of how to sell more 50 series cards..
Well it's time to bin it and get shiny 5090! More you buy more you save!
Yea, I used DLSS Swapper on Stalker 2 instead.
I'm not sure why we can only see to preset J, all the fluff on Nvidia's website points to a new preset K which is J but has some bug fixes
I updated though the Nvidia app and it worked fine on my 4090

Is that the way to go then? Don’t know whether I should be selecting latest or one of the specific presets?
