**The OcUK Benchmarks thread!**

If you have 3 screens (5760*1080) that would be cool to see how we compare. I think I will do sword breaker at this res on ultra just to have a laugh :D

Yeah, got my 3rd screen sitting in my room ready to be setup (again) I can only bench @1200/1600 though, would be nice to see a C4C comparison in CF/SLI. Shame my cards are pretty poor.

I'll bench on Ultra presets and in accordance to the video posted earlier? Should help with continuity. Don't expect them till around 1-2am though :P

5760*1080 everything full Ultra including motion blur.

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
12421, 287400, 21, 76, 43.219

Need more power...

Nice work on that BF3 Chart gregster, its looks great :)

We are missing some crucial Nvidia GPU's tho....

Thanks and yep, we need a 670/660TI and a 660 just to cover the top cards. Also a 7950.

Done a 5760x1080 bench.
2x7970 @1200/1600.

Benched OP:S up until they shout RPG!

Frames Time (ms) Min Max Avg
15057 192973 54 103 78.026

I'll edit my post with normal 1080 in 5 mins.

Edit: 1080p 2x7970 @1200/1600.

Frames Time (ms) Min Max Avg
34001 192614 109 201 176.524

Both are with 12.11s and 12.10 CAPs

Second edit: Surely that's not right? I'm getting a +30fps boost using the newest drivers in CF @1080p...

Nice Tonester, you smashed me up good and proper and I didn't even get chance to pull my trousers down :D

Edit: BF3 is capped at 201fps :(

Was your 5760x1080 test done online? There's no way the 7970 clocked so low (mine) beats yours.

Checking your graph on page 10, PGI C4C is lower in performance than you, whereas i'm +5 fps higher in Cf/SLI using a lot lower clocks.

If i record how i bench on OP:S will you check and make sure i'm not doing something wrong? These don't smell right to me.

It's cool bro. I have no doubt you done everything correct and it is a known fact that the 7970s perfrom better at massive resoloutions.

Just to confirm though that you was on full ultra including motion blur? Not that I doubt you at all :)

Yup. Ultra presets.
Nice to know AMD finally caught up with Nvida, still shocking it took 10 months.

Yep but worth the wait :) I just hope Nvidia do have something to give like AMD have but I feel I am clutching at straws :(

Edit:

I could well imagine 2*7950s beating me at our res....Nobody better prove it though or I will be in a sulk :D

I only added the operation sword breaker results for BF3.

I just had a look back through this thread and I am very dissapointed to see the one upmanship kicking in. Joking or not, this wasn't the thread for that :(

Hi gregster, my 7850 score above was with the old drivers with the beta's the results are

2012-10-28 08:43:38 - bf3
Frames: 19937 - Time: 384605ms - Avg: 51.838 - Min: 28 - Max: 84

True.

Just to ensure consistency can you bench until the car park is clear and you go back to the wounded soldier? That's where we end the bench.

No worries if not. The scene after the RPG comes down should lower your average a little as it's 100% combat.

7979's will still be quicker but interested to see by how much. Cheers.

So if this is where we end the bench where do we start.. from the very beginning? Just asking as it looks like we need a 7950 in the mix so i'll run a bench. Btw any preference on CPU clock with my 2700K or shall i just run my nornal clocks i run when gaming?

Cheers :)
