imho none of you are bad players, theres talent and different styles, and genres in all the pieces which is good to see you guys putting out some variety. as i said there all good, just none of them got my attention and made me think "wow" sorry.
sure we cant, thats why ive played along side members from "one minute silence" yes we just hit things as hard as we can, sure its dynamics and control in drumming maybe you should read about it sometime.

think what you want your just annoyed that i didnt think the tracks put forward where up to much... and being musicians you should all say fine thats your opinion and move on.

I'm not disputing the fact you may have played alongside them. Well done, seriously. That is much more of an achievement than other members can claim. Take dmpoole for example, i'm sure he's never played with some huge bands, neither has penski, and GordyR doesn't have his own music career.
Have you noticed though, that nobody else has slated anyones guitar work? Even those who have much more industy experience than you, and much more musical talent than you (grade 8 drums, woop. you can't 'teach' talent and flair).
It seems to me, that you're hanging onto the fact that you drummed alongside this band as your only lifeline in this thread.
So far you've rubbished other people's ability, but have no proof to show your own skills. You have made claims regarding recording with a big band, but yet again no proof (even though you recorded in a studio).
I remember the thread you made a while ago, about your old music teacher at school saying you were 'THE BEST DRUMMER IN THE WORLD' or something to that effect. Maybe people saying this has gone to your head a bit and your ego is getting in the way of your judgement.

right lets settle something im a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to music.
yes there all good. but none caught my attention. thats all im saying i love the fact of this competition yeh really it hink its great and im glad to see Ocuk have some really good guitar playing with there own unique styles.
it does but the fact of the matter is, i cant record a whole drumkit threw that can i. i have 10+ microphones i use on stage but yet i dont have the sound based programs on my computers within my home.
the singer has all that equipment and software at his home studio.
Kee payne for the sake of Penski was a very big part in the OMS he played some major gigs with them, and still is in contact with the band. last time i spoke to him he was contacting yap for vocals to his latest work.
yes also i can teach i have the ability to teach ive been playing 12 years, yes its not a lot compared to some of you but i am 18, and i am proud of myself ( head swelling ) but as you say i cant teach talent....
your all good musicians dont get me wrong but maybe the songs and trakcs inputted more than likely didnt catch my attention as they wasnt to my taste.
the reason for penkis catching my attention was it was very tight, i like tight solid riffs... im a perfectionist as i have said i like tight solid sound.

Also Neon, I have opened up this audition/compo to all musicians because my hypothetical band needs all musicians, so send in your 'tape' with you drumming and backing singing.
