LynnieLeigh, how about the Reflex or 70's/80's Bars?
Phil.

Sorry not ignoring you. Reflex is good but tend to repeat the same stuff over and over! I will keep it in mind though :)

Think me and Davey are going to have to go to a few places try them out.
For the good of the OCUK meet of course ;)

Phil have you ever been to Bar Med? I have and its a laugh

They play 70's/80's and more up to date stuff, plus DJ always takes requests :)
As you go in there is an area that can be booked. you can sit down and dance in this bit or go onto the dance floor.
They also sell cocktails and shooters so me, Davey, H and Matblack will be happy ;)

That place looks good :) Cliffy will be happy too as he likes his shots of drink and B52's ;)

Lynne and I have been chatting, and we're wondering now if Bar Med should be the definite new location. With a private area we can book (with room for up to 30 people), music that's dancy but not too loud you can't talk to the person next to you, and a central location, it's probably more suitable for us all. Does anyone have any objections to making this the new night place?

Sounds a much better place, least we'll all be able to stay together and I have to say the music seems better too :p

No objections to Bar Med from me - looks like a place even I could cope with, and socialising opportunities are good too - that's one thing I missed from the Essex meet (my fault, I admit).

On that basis, can you move me from maybe to definite. I can get to Liverpool Lime Street on the train pretty easily, and although I'll have to stay two nights, the hotel rates I've seen don't look too bad.

Sounds spot on :)

OcUK can make a silk purse out of a sows ear in the entertainment department, as long as we are together and have beer then it doesn't really matter about the venue :)

MB

Agreed :)
I'm going for the people rather than the venues anyway.

So long as hiring out an area doesn't bankrupt us, then that sounds ideal :)

The Krazyhouse admission would have been about £2 we have 26 definates at the moment which whould have been £52 I doubt it'll be more than that :) waiting to get in touch with manager
