Yes because men don't need to be social with anyone or anything unlike women do (see social media and which gender its dominated by). We are happy just doing our own thing. Why......BECAUSE MEN AND WOMEN ARE DIFFERENT.
The amount of women I have dated over the past few years, who have pets and treat them like humans/kids is ridiculous.
Yes, my girlfriend gives me plenty of attention but if I dont give it back, watch the grumpy mood she stays in.
Did I say ALL women? Most women, don't want to grow old and die alone. Act like they going to live the Sex and The City Lifestyle.
There is only one women I met who never wanted kids, she also didn't get marriage and was single. Last year on the 23rd December at the age of 48 she died because she was an alcoholic.
Yet there are more women prescribed antidepressants compared to men and its rising every year. You can research this on the internet. What's the chances most of those women are single!?!?!!?
Men who have cats/dogs don't have them for them same emotion reason like women do. Example, to fill the gap because they are single and don't have a child. Its not called Crazy Cat Man or Dog Man. There is some truth behind the terms referring to women.
You find many men who are single, don't have pets because they don't have the time. Too busy earning more money, building a empire to provide. You have a few who have dogs for protection, guide dogs etc. But on the whole, WAY more women have pets compared to men.

You dont need to interviewed every woman and man on the planet and compared notes. Men have a higher sex drive than women, due to testosterone. After menopause a woman's sex drive drops, men's stays around the same. That's why men can produce sperm till the day they die. Its documented throughout history.
Do you ever hear about men with holding sex from their female partners as punishment ?!?!....But you do hear about females with holding sex from their male partners?!?!?!
And who do you think indicates sex first and more......men or women?!?!!?
This is one of the biggest loads of generalised subjective tosh I've ever read on these forums.
How else would you speak about groups of people? There are obvious differences between men and women, you don't need to take offense, obviously people are different. The girl I'm speaking to now is very girly, but also way more competitive than most men I know, but on average men are more competitive than women. Personally I like animals far more than my ex, she didn't really "get" them and is not an animal person at all, but on average maybe women like to treat them more as "children" more than most men will I feel.

my wife and I split last year, it wasn’t fun at the time but I came to realise quickly that things hadn’t been right for years and we were just together for the kids.
(We lived separate lives, slept in different rooms, no intimacy) we were together 13 years and married for almost 10 of those. Albeit seemly just room mates in reality.

I don't think someone who has been starved of intimacy and affection needs very long to find someone new.
Why don't you quote the posts and challenge the views you disagree with instead of acting like a toddler at nursery pulling on the teachers coat
Because this isn't a thread for that discussion. Recent posts have already been challenged. It's a slowly, slowly observation of the content of this thread that I've had a passing interest in over the years. The advice in this thread comes in on a spectrum, while most is balanced, some of it has been borderline derogatory towards women in general. If it were a female relative or friend that was being talked about in such ways I'd have issues with it, so I am now at a point where I think it should be challenged regardless other than just laughing it off as a source of entertainment of how some men can have such low opinions of women.
I've been toying with starting a thread about the treatment and attitudes towards women in (western) society in general, but haven't got the time to dedicate to such a discussion at this moment in time. Interesting how you go to the alpha stance immediately on me as if I was attacking your safe space.
I don't agree with everything put in this thread for the record by the way, the post saying men can satisfy themselves sexually screams of something from that community called "MGTOW" (men going their own way, which I only have a passing awareness of), but I still stand by my point that instead of screaming for a mod you need to quote and challenge views you disagree with even if it's in a new thread.
But my point is, a man can be happily single till the day they die with access adult to material. As their sexual needs will be met.
Women cant, that's why so many single women have pets. Especially women who don't have kids. They always need something to give them attention.
I'm not sure what drove you to the conclusion that you think men can be happy single, I am single and happy, but I also enjoy speaking to women and being around them, ideally I wouldn't stay single forever even if I'm currently perfectly fine. Adult material doesn't replace a real woman, I'd question whether you've actually had a strong sexual relationship if you think that.
Lots of single people get pets, lots of people married and in long term relationships get pets, there's no correlation there and the insinuation that women get pets because they can't handle being single is dumb, some women might but I'd bet there's just as many single guys with pets as there is women. Happy to be proven wrong on that though.

Every situation is different. It's appropriate to start dating again when it feels right to you and you know that the kids will be OK with it.
There is no appropriate? Do what you want to do, people it doesn’t affect don’t get to have an opinion. You look after yourself and your kids.
Bare in mind, as soon as you start bringing other women around, your ex might see you as attractive again and try and make a move on you.
Most of the posters here are male, if it was evened up with 50/50 male/female posters do you still think it would still just be derogatory towards women?
Yes some men have such low opinions of women, just like some women have such low opinions of men, but as above, most posters here are men hence we don't get to see the opinions of women on a balanced scale.
