Are you going to buy the 2022 Apple TV with USB-C charging on the remote?

Ordered the 128 ethernet version last night, a couple of months ago I bought a Samsung QE50QN90B 2022 model which supports HDR10+, looking forward to seeing how the combination of the 2 devices performs.

Cheers all

While I’ll have my issues with certain app development on TVOS (with both sides), there is no denying that the box is a champ.

Watching the football last night and only the ATV was able to give a decent image-even the Fire Cube/4K Max had judder/stuttering and you’d expect their own box to deliver their own coverage correctly.

The Prime stream was awful, a big blocky mess in parts and a lot of people on Twitter moaning about it. It seemed to sort itself out in the second half.

My Plex server runs on my NAS. I don’t think I see the logic of running the server on the playback box, I’d have to have a rack of drives mounted under the telly.
OK? I don't see the logic of splashing out extra kit when one device is capable of doing mutliple tasks.

This is really annoying that the remote now has USB-C as i only not that long ago bought the newest remote with the lightning socket for my 4k apple TV :(
And i think that the only thing i own that uses a lightning cable to charge it..:(
{Lightning is such a really stupid connector as just about nothing at all uses it}
