Got a 11" Pro M4 but when i set it up from my iphone for some reason it was chewing through battery for a day or so.
I ended up having to setup as a new device (very annoyingly), has anybody else had this issue ?

Because all my pictures were in the cloud. And when I set up my iPad Air 6th Gen which I sold for the pro I never had the same issues.

I'm sure you guys are already aware but I wasn't until I checked, Apple Care+ doesn't include theft/loss protection (unlike iPhone) for iPad (even if cellular which seems bonkers!)

Glad I’ve decent cover through home insurance. This thing still goes pretty much everywhere with me.

Why is it included for iPhone then, even it it cost more I'd consider it?
As it is I'm going to have to get cover for it for theft so it makes Applecare+ redundant!

I'd rather not claim against my home insurance policy for 'high risk' items like iPads if I can help it, just seems odd that it's included for iPhone but not iPad.
My presumption is that if you claim on my household policy you will lose any 'no claims discount' you might get, most places ask if you've had any claims on your household policy in the last 'X' years, I would imagine my household premium will increase as a result. Given house insurance is pretty expensive I'd rather than didn't increase and I had a seperate policy for the iPad.

I'm having issues with the miniLED Ipad Pro 12.9" M1 (5th Gen)... Motion blur when scrolling is causing me eye strain and headaches... something to do with the pixel response time? Evidence shown here
How are people finding the M4 Ipad Pro when it comes to reading text / scrolling vertically? Any ghosting / trailing of the text? any motion blurring?

Does the Pro have any extra features over the Air M2 when it comes to external monitors? Also can you increase the 'resolution' on the Air like you can with the Pro?

I own the 12.9 pro M1 ipad with the mini LED (think it the 5th gen) and the battery life has always been terrible
I normally grab my 11" pro due to the rubbish battery life of my 12.9
I’ve got a M1 12.9 Pro. I get around 10 hours battery usage. What are you getting?
