****The Official 7900 overclocking thread****

Nothing :p its just the same as 1.4 again  . I dont get what ive done wrong. The paint has definatly been put on correctly, ive redone it and looked at it from every angle and it looks right. Any ideas?

Do you think linking the second D508 and the first D511 will have the same effect? That might be easier

I wouldn't like to say really, I just know there were definite gains going from 1.4v to 1.5v with my card.

My core maxes out at 684 - any more then i get freezes, no corruption or anything, its a bit annoying really.

Memory seems good - im at 1800 on the memory, the nvidia tool says its not stable above that, but im sure it probably is. :p

Is everyone using coolbits?

Is there a rivatuner that supports the 7900 series yet?

I have read that there isn't.

what about powerstrip ?

is anyone using this?

What i do is make sure that it's allready set at high performance turned off the aa/af + vsync....set the overclock profile in ati tool to start when it detects 3d....so on a restart it's just a matter of starting 3d06...set priority to high kill what you can.... run 06 and overclock starts on it's own....supose i could have got some more points if i killed my security centre + explorer.
