I didnt get a hugh increase in 3Dmark from this however, with 169.04 it went from 11000 to 11650. I think I will push it to 12k then leave it at that.

That's great! Hoping for those clocks myself, and mine will be slightly pre-overclocked, so hopefully it'll go :) That's with stock cooling i presume?
 
Damn, considering doing the "Cartman waiting for Wii" thingie and freezing myself until tommorow. Or i should just do all my crappy homework and this whole week will be over :P
 
Anyone managed to adjust the shader clocks?

Looking around the writer of Rivatuner seem pretty upset with the release of the 2.06 rivatuner beta. Is it working OK?

Shader clock on mine is at 1700+, due to rivatuner increasing it along with the core and yes, as far as I can see everything is working on the beta.
 
OK, my new GT came today and I'm blown away by it, the fan noise is none existent and the build quality second to none, not to fussy with the clocks at the moment, got them at 700gpu and 2000 memory, i will go higher but going to do more tests at these clocks first, got to be honest and say it beats the hell out of my 2900xt, amazing card and a new 06 score for me to, 15000 should be a breez with a bit of tweaking.:D

Well ive sorted my PCI-E slot out and its now operating at x16

Re-ran 3dmark and now get the following :

3DM05 : 18007
3DM06 : 12060, SM2 5572, SM3/HDR 5647, CPU 2597

Thats with my E6400 @ 3.2 and the card at 700/2000 :)

I think a Q6600 is on my Xmas wish list
 
ooooh glad to see a gigabyte GT clocking well, i managed to get enough for the 512mb one and it turns up tommorow.
cant wait.

Nice results, a lot better :)

The Q6600 will only effect your 3D Mark 06 scores. You won't notice any other difference if you play only games.
 
My gigabyte arrived to day stock 600/1800

well happy with it , running happily at 702 core/ 2080 mem and quietly

It bombed out @ 702/2200 mem

what will work on the shader clocks ?
 
OK some results on 06 again.

Running 745/2050/1863 on a P5K E6600 @ 3.6

Running 745/2100/1863

CPU 3233

It seems the memory clock is playing a roll with performance. The only thing thats changed was the memory and only by 50
 
Can anyone confirm this can fit fine into a P180 case? I already have a GTS and that fits no probs. It the GT bigger length or width wise?
