I'm moving from my S7 45mm to this, is that just a £5 fee ontop of you phone service for the eSim

Looks like a bit of a beast, what colour/type strap did you opt for

Yes just £5 added to phone bill for Watch data. It uses the call and text allowance from your phone.

I picked blue/grey trail loop and it’s very soft and comfortable.

One of the guys here has just got the Ultra, but he came from a series 5, I've got a 7 so probably won't bother with another watch, not unless there's some new feature I want, for a good few years now..

The Ultra doesn't seem that much larger in reality than my 7, apart from the chunker button thing they have going off on the side.

iPhone in hand and all set up

I’m on giffgaff so need to sort out a sim only contract as giffgaff don’t do esim.

Is the esim an add on then with the likes of ee and Vodafone?

Got a series 7 coming after being away from Apple for a little bit. Managed to grab a 41mm Starlight with Nike band for £279 from Currys in their recent sale. Also had a £20 voucher so worked out well.

Nice one. I absolutely love mine. Just as I was a latecomer to the iPhone, I am a latecomer to the Watch and I love both of them. Couldn't live without either now.
I used to hop from Android to Apple every 3 years but don't bother anyone, I've had 2 Apple Watches a 5 and then/now a 7 - Ultra looks like a chunky monkey but thats fine

yeah, you get used to the size very quickly, its a great piece of tech..

always ended up selling my AW's but the Ultra, no, I will be keeping this.

Only thing I done I dont usually is I bought the AppleCare plan for it.

How much, out of interest? For the AWU Yes ?

Also is there a cheap way to get an eSim? My work don’t have it on our corporate account but I want to be able to leave my phone at home if I go for a long run at times

yeah, i went into Apple and one of the employees helped me setup, im paying £4.99 p/m for it, which I think is fair due to the market this watch is aimed at. I am very careful with all my tech, but with the Gym etc. i thought it was a good idea for cover.

I had my contract from my previous watch through my EE carrier, so when I got the AWU all i did was transfer that line to my new watch, so im not sure on the eSim situation mate.
