*** The Official BTCC Thread ***

Just got back from Croft. It was the first time i've ever been to watch the BTCC and I really enjoyed it. That Dynojet Toyota sounds amazingly lairy and the Junior races were really enjoyable to watch. More so than I thought they would be.

Would quite like to go see a few other races now hopefully with nicer weather too.

Is there any sort of highlights coverage on TV so I can see on the bits I missed out? as we were sat on the mound on hawthorne bend so obviously didn't see all the action.

I think there are highlights on the ITV website for it and they usually show a couple hours worth of highlights at some point in the week too.

There will be a highlights show shown late one evening this week on one of the ITV channels. usually about an hour long with highlights from the 3 races.

Cheers guys :) Will have a look on the TV planner and try and find it to Sky+

ITV4 and ITV4 website :)

That was some great teamwork by Rob Collard and Foster in the last race, for Collard to give 2nd up after Foster let Collard have a go at Mat Jackson. Wish i was there today, unfortunatley, had to work - not too far from croft either :(

Another great days racing. I got absolutely soaked just before the 1st race but dried out by the time the Ginetta GT's were on.
Not as much action as the last race I atteneded at Donington, but still a cracking day out.
For the money it is unbeatable!

Its been sooooooooooooo long! Can't wait for some more Honda pwnage and Plato moaning :)

Shame I am busy this weekend. Looks like I will be watching the highlights later in the week :(

Just a polite heads up. BTCC is back on this Sunday at the new Snetterton 300 track. Coverage from 11:30 on ITV4

Awesome.. Its been far too long, nearly forgot about it! Thats my Sunday sorted while I'm hung over then from the wedding I'm at on the Saturday afternoon! :D

Will be at Snett all weekend. Going to be a bit strange as we're not sure whether the massive crowds of casual fans who never go to any other events will still fill the banking where Russell used to be as usual or whether they'll realise nothing happens there any more and will clog up the rest of the circuit.

Reckon we'll go to the recently opened viewing area at the Montreal hairpin tomorrow as we've not had chance to see it yet then make a decision on where to go Sunday.

Have fun, looks like I will be resigned to watching it on the TV this year. Hopefully the weather picks up for tomorrow.
