Hey Guys

Want to change my current rig for a conroe, current is:

AMD 4800
2GB DDR
Asus AN8-SLI DELUXE
Gigabyte G-Power Pro

First question is will the 6600 Conroe match the 4800 even at stock speeds?
And what does everyone think of the Asus P5W DH Deluxe WiFi ?

Anyway can someone reccommend a price to stick my components for sale at and reccomend a rig

Oh and what CPU Cooler does everyone use to get such good oc's

Yes the E6600 will be faster than the 4800 even at stock speeds
The Asus P5W DH Deluxe WiFi is a nice mobo and it comes out on top when reviewed and compared with other mobo available

Just got my E6700 in the post so will finish building my rig and post clocks over the weekend

I'm using an Artic freezer 7 pro, right now my temps are 40degrees. That seem ok? Not sure the thing is reporting correct temps tbh.

what are your temps when dual priming?

Edit: Somewhat suspicious of my load temps of 33C (though my window is open so my room is cool). Certainly the air coming from my radiator isn't warm at all as it was with the 805D.

are you using probe?

I am so interested in 6600 perfomance with this mobo.

What G skill did you get?

G.Skill 2GB DDR2 HZ PC2-6400 (2x1GB) CAS4 Dual Channel Kit (F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ) (MY-013-GS)

Left the system over night to make sure it was ok at stock and to check the watercooling was still ok. Going to get OCing today

And underwater too.....

Got my 6600 running at 3.2ghz at the mo, primed over night fine.

Did have it running at 3.8 but it wasn't stable so I need to tweak a bit more

yup its the norm on 1.35 version
