matt100 said:revision B1 if thats any guide.. I'm still finding it slightly insane that the stock 1mb superpi was 19s on an old windows install with 1 stick of ram and no motherboard drivers installed.
I've been around for a while and I've never seen that sort of performance increase in a chip swap and I change a LOT...
vocch said:Try running super pi 1.5 xs mod...so we can see exact time your getting thanks.
<maddness> said:from that cpu-z shot it looks like 10, since when has 9 got 2 digits

hi, i have been in contact with G Skill, it seems that your right about it holding back, i was under the impression the this mem could do a 1500 fsb, "is impossible"
i got it to 999fsb in a 2:3 the chip @ 333. this was very stable....
i have the mem at 2.4 volts... high but is seems ok...
at the moment running a very stable prime and all other stress tests...
3445 x 9 = 382
mem
4.4.4.8.12. frequency 288.... 4:3
i ordered a ds3 today, will let you know what happens...
I can run 3.6ghz 4:5 1ghz without issue.
nickinmarbella said:easyrider said:i have just tried this on the p5w, seems to work with 1 gig at 3575 4:5, it boots into windows and does a sweet pi,, thats about it though,,, i need water...
How did your ram behave at 2:3? Did you try it?
I ran 3.8ghz 1:1 with the asus
nickinmarbella said:easyrider said:stable? that must have given you a 12 sec pi....
i just got a 14.2 sec, and i was rockin...
Of course stable.A clock is useless if not prime stable
nickinmarbella said:quote from them…..
"1:1 you might have problem with P5WDH motherboard.
If you can run 2:3 over 800 then it is not the problem with ram.
Please make sure your 975 NB can run over 370.
Some time it is the problem with your 975 NB not the ram.
1500FSB is impossible."
nickinmarbella said:wow...
seems that the p5b d might be the answer to the high fsb.,. do you no if has issuse with the d9 Micron..
seems not in your case...
looks like i am going to run and buy me a p5b d.. and some water cooling..... another 500€ to spend... i better get a quick and stable pc for this wad.,.,..
<maddness> said:lol there are plenty of people who have over 500fsb with a p5b deluxe and a conroe never mind allendales.

all plastered around in this thread amongst others
