Few games have aged as well as D2, the support from Blizzard has helped, but the simple fact is it hasn't been bettered.

I just hope they don't turn it into basically a free to play dungeon finder kind of mechanic. Be put in a random group, complete quests, get achievements and never speak to them again. Here's hoping otherwise!

Oh dear. I never thought of that - it blatantly will be.

To be honest, the more I hear, the less I like it, I don't think I actually like Blizzard any more

I've already got Fallout 2 and 3, Borderlands, TES: Morrowind and Oblivion, D1 and D2 and Torchlight.

it is worth it, think there is a thread round here somewhere where a guy picked it up + expansion for less than a fiver...

I've spent upwards of 100 hours on TQ, absolutely love it.

I picked up the original TQ game and it's expansion for about £4.70 delivered. It'a taking an eternity to show up though!

TQ & Immortal Throne are very good. Someone suggested Mythos in another thread, its free to play - only put an hour into myself but it seemed quite fun.

I read a while ago they thought 5 players was ideal and that a maximum number of players was undecided at the moment.

8 players was fun in the cow level, but I did find it slightly too busy when trying to do quests.

I did enjoy the 8-player aspect, as mentioned it added to the overall 'chaos' of the game, and was part of the fun - same as in CoH, running into a packed room of baddies and all 8 of you letting fly.
