i think doing bounties is better/ (faster?) compared to story mode since you get fragments to burn away once you hit 70. This is what im doing at the moment.
 
My seasons wiz is really starting to come together :D

Did a bunch of 4 man 54's with Flibby and friends tonight. ended the night on a 55 but it was a bad rift/map/mobs, so failed it. We have it in us though to get on the leaderboard now heh. Practice...Practice....

I can hit the +33% dmg hydra breakpoint with Flibby's BBV down, hydras are like machine guns hah.

Ignore the spec, it hasn't updated.

I have different rings / bracer and spec for solo, this is my group gear.

Havent pushed solo much yet, did a 44 to up my blood shard cap but might try that more once my group stops getting upgrades and we find our max grift abilities. I don't think anny of us are into the whole fishing for rifts thing.

Awesome Smudge, what does your 4 man group look like. We did a 47 last night with Monk, Barb, DH, WD. Managed it in about 8 minutes so we still have room to go but I find the barb to be a little squishy in group play sometimes, though it is better with the new whirlwind set.
 
2 wiz, Dh & Zdps wd.

Off the top of my head the Dh uses the new set with multi shot & a fast ancient wep.

Other wiz is similar to me but hasn't had a good ss drop yet so using a sun keeper.

Flibby was playing cru but switched to Zdps wh as we hit a wall around grift 50.

We have lots of dps and cc. What kills us now is reflect packs @ rift guardians. Practice now and minor gear upgrades.

Finally got my RRoG last light (I didn't know that doing bounties on T6 gave a guaranteed legendary lol).

Now rocking 6pc wastes set and 4pc IK set on my lightning WW barb :D (the RRoG reduces the amount of bits you need for set bonuses by 1). Was struggling with high low 30s GRs but just melting them like butter now :D

My WD also has a full zDPS set caph :)

Hey Smudge was your zdps WD using the new belt of transcendance by any chance? I see a lot of tweaked zdps builds now including fetishes for that extra dps.

I had a lovely aincent tiki drop the other night :)

Well RNG is RNG. I've had great RNG runs and also terrible RNG runs, that's the very nature of the game.

Back in Vanilla I ran up about 7 billion golds worth of drops in one week. Recently I had 12 flying dragon and 2 furnaces drop within 3 days, however the last few days have been abysmal. Mostly it's about playing the game, being efficient in your farming routines/shard gambling to try minimize the RNG ow and crossing your fingers, toes and any other body parts :D

That being said after reaching Paragon level 500 on seasonal, getting greater rift 47 solo and a few 50+'s as a duo I've hit the wall. Not much point playing any more for those 0.1-5% Upgrades and pushing higher greater rifts are just an exercise in smashing face into brick wall hoping for decent rifts. Which is just not fun really.

Either way its always the same ~ 50 hours per season and I'm bored. O well hopefully next patch & season bring some new and interesting developments.
 
Crazy to think zDPS WD are working as intended when Blizzard nerfed Serenity into the ground because of In-geom/Zodiac. It's like they're purposefully trying to make only the solo leaderboards relevant. Isn't Diablo meant to be all about grouping? :(
 
We cleared a few 55's tonight, spawned a 56 at the end of the play session and failed due to the lag. 56 is doable tho, didn't seem any harder than 55.

I tried a star pact meteor build out, so when I've mastered that I'll be happy. 22billion crits in places haha, I think I saw a 29 too, too much number spam though. I'm a bit peeved I can't work the 4th element into the build for more dmg but ohh well. I'll have a read up at work and see if I can squeeze a 4th element in.

Total glass cannon build tho, zero defence, I don't recommend anyone trying it unless you have a decent amount of cc and can hang about at the edge of the screen. Even doing that I spent more time dead than alive :). Practice....

Onwards and upwards :)
 
Yeah that lag sucked last night, completely ruined the 56 run. Was even getting freezing and lag at the character selection screen.
