Not played for a while, is there anything new and distinctive with Season 3?
Me and some friends have decided to push the 3 and 4 man leaderboards witchdoctor-less to see if we can get top 50. Team will be support monk, support crusader and two DH. I'm not running the typical quin69 leeching monk, I'm going to be running Innas support monk!
If anyone has any tips/knowledge to share we are all ears!
I have come to the conclusion that the game wants me to play a firebirds build and that tal rasha is not for me. After 100 paragon levels and all my blood shards, I have one belt and its crap. I swear I have had the full firebirds twice over though...so going to start using them now.
If you are aiming that high you need a Witch Doctor, there's no other way. No other class can provide as many buffs as a WD can and no one else can lock down monsters as well as they can. As soon as you hit 50 - 52, your DPS will instantly die from jailer, frozen, reflect and probably plagued. These are instant damage and you can't avoid them so you need to have elites crowd controlled properly or your DPS are going to chain die. Also, any hit from any mob such as a random arrow from a Skeleton Archer will instantly kill your DPS. Once you hit around 56-59, those arrows will also instantly kill you. From around 55 harding hitting stuff from trash will also kill you immediately (such as Succubus' projectiles or exploding Grostesque's).
Could some kind soul give me a minute?
I wanted to buy this game for a long time, But it was bugged at 60hz vsync for a long time. I just found a google post about everything being fixed in 2.2? Can someone confirm that you can use ingame vsync and get proper 120hz or 120fps?
Managed a GR 41 solo yesterday, some better bracers and 2 ancient weapons should push me a fair bit further. Not bad for only starting to really play Season 3 about a week ago.
I can't for the life of me get chance to freeze on hit to roll on my belt though.
