Haven't tried with g-sync, and he didn't mention having it.

I've tried it on 120/144 monitors and it runs stuttery compared to 60. Most notably on item names you see the "judder" when running around in rifts etc, even if FPS is maintained. It was a bit better around 2.1, but 2.2 seems to of borked it again.
 
While I am enjoying the Barb I think I might roll a Crusader as well. Got an ancient Furnace just sitting in my stash not being used and it seems such a shame. Gotta have those big crits.
 
I rolled a crusader too a couple of days back for our regular group play. Zdps support. Its fairly simple to gear as most of his items are crafted. His gear is far from sorted yet but we can already do grift 57's and hope to push to 60+ once I get some practice in!

Group setup is now Zdps cru, zdps WD, DH and Wiz.

I cant link to his profile at the moment as it hasn't seemed to update but he has the standard support gear and skill setup.

Pretty fun play style.

That's the fun of it dude! We did a 52 last night with relative ease. Multishot can hit elites from outside of their affix ranges too. Not sure if I'll get one shot though as 75% dodge is pretty insane and when my gear is better optimised I'll be sitting at 2k res all, 18k armor and 1mill HP. As Inna's gives the 10% damage buff I might drop toxin for the melee dmg reduction gem too. I'm thinking with the right rifts, it'll be easy. My demon rats can dodge jailer and other affixes with my agility mantra too. 60 without a WD isn't unachievable man, determination and a decent rift it'll be easy.

You're still not getting top 50 when a WD can cc all the elites permanently. :p

As for me, I'm working on improving my M6, Getting Nats ready to go, and hoping to get some better pieces for my lightning UE - I have an ancient krider but not a discipline one, so that's a 120% damage hit. :(

Thinking that for Lightning UE the Ess of Johan might be superior to a Hellfire - that's a lot of grouping that could be going on.

We'll see, the WD is a crutch, nothing more. if 4 bad players can get top 50 with a WD, 4 good players can get there with a zDps cru/monk. I can permanently CC elites, but cannot stop their affixes, and with the exception of jailer, nothing kills my carries because they aren't bad. Infact, a zdps monk and zdps wizard could nullify elites (albeit with it abit of micro management and skill compared to the WD's pressing 1 button). You don't need a WD, a WD is just an 'easy' mode option.

Best crusader build at the minute is Golden Flence + Denial, only the Raekor barb has Furnace as BiS. With FnR though Raekor is stupid this season, once the wastes/bk hype boils down the leaderboards will be dominated by Raekors again.
 
Still think you're a bit in denial. The entire point is keeping the DHs alive because they do your damage, and if you can't perma cc their affixes you're screwed. Jailers are obvious one shots, frozen is a pain in the ass and kills you before you can get out of their range if they spawn on your feet. Thunderstorm is a killer, mortars all over the place, etc. If your DH's are UE lightning, then it is even worse because as soon as reflect comes on even for a split second both your DHs are dead instantly.

I play a DH full time so I know these well, and I say, without a WD, good luck.

From the higher GR runs I've seen you're spot on Tephnos.

Maybe it will change later in the season when people have massive paragon levels but for now you definitely need a WD.

Don't think it'll change until the game has had a total rework - the tiki removal pending next patch might do this. Otherwise everyone will drop 10 GR groups levels without the WD perma stun. However, Blizz loves power creep so I think they'll replace it with something else or change how affixes work (but since they love one shot unavoidable damage I really don't know.)

I will say as a near 800 paragon DH, I hate it when I do high GRs without a WD. Too much time spent dodging and trying not to die vs doing actual damage.
 
Tempted to pick up the expansion and start going at it with people (Stopped playing a while back). I thought I read about an OCUK group or clan? How does one get into that?

I still love the Raekor barb, loved it since the set initially came out, before the massive buff, but the single target damage is soooo bad. Group survivability also ain't great sadly.
 
Finally got another Tal Rasha piece last night and am finally making meteors!

I know its not great, but managed to jump from lvl20-22 rifts to level25 with ease and then almost a level30, but I just need more overall damage now.

Out of interest, I have around 2k resistances on most elements, I think my lowest is 1.8k for fire. Do I have too much and should go for some more damage instead?
 
Is there a good guide somewhere for level 70 crafting/farming? Reckon I'll hit 70 tonight but no idea what to do from there. I assume just spam-run adventure mode?
