That sounds a bit odd. Unless they're items you receive as a reward at some point during the quest line.

Not seen a lot of info on it, the article that mentioned it was more going on about how the majority won't be, rather than which specifically will. I presume that it's connected to quest or plot rewards. Maybe PvP ranks or achievements.

Hoping I get beta access, but knowing my luck with the SC2 beta, I probably won't get access until very late.

Good thing is with the beta being such a small part of the game it doesn't really matter when you get in as content is so limited.

It doesnt matter anyway, as anything you do in beta is removed on release, you start a fresh.

Blizzard games have never been on Steam. I love Steam and all, but that's not going to stop me getting a great game.

Aye.

To be fair though B.net is one of the better implementations of self digital distribution I've seen imo.

Always had decent speeds when I download an installer. + Being able to activate the last generation of their games was great.
