you can get internet everywhere but planes is why! :p

I think they inject you with something in airports that makes you want to play dungeon crawlers. I had a ton of games ready for the last time I was on a plane but ended up playing an ancient install of Diablo 1 for some reason.

Games going to be so outdated by the time its released, its probably been finished since last year and blizzard are just waiting for a strategic time to release it, Sadly they are waiting too long and will release an out of date game at this rate.

Is it actually possible to activate Lost Vikings on there is that only available to buy?

It's not even available to buy, is it?

Any of these are redeemable afaik:

Out of date compared to what? What other similar games of the same scale are due between now and it's release with newer ideas?

Oh my mistake, sure when I looked yesterday there was a page with Lost Vikings on it. Should've paid more attention ><

The legacy games page maybe? It's just history gumph on their company page rather than battle.net. :)

Amazed they don't offer it actually. I know I'd pay £4 or whatever for it, far easier than getting the snes out. :o

Do you really believe this? Why?

I played torchlight and got bored pretty fast, will diablo 3 be the same repetitive type of game?

I doubt it. Torchlight had an extremely weak plot and repetitive quests. If you've played Diablo 2, there's a lot more variation. It's still the same kind of game though, so if you don't like the whole idea behind it, it might not be for you.

Not being stuck playing solo like Torchlight, and being able to co-op with friends adds to all of it as well imo. :)

What made me get bored with torchlight is that it was super easy, basically all you did is mindlessly spam spells on stuff and loot with hardly any challenging moments and the story was weak as you said. Hoping diablo 3 will have some sort of skill/challenging gameplay with a decent story, but cant help think it will be torchlight with different graphics + co-op.

I do have diablo 2 but got it very late, and it was really dated when i played it so i couldn't really get into it. Maybe that's why im not feeling much hype around D3....

You do realise Blizzard games have ridiculous longevity don't you? Diablo3 if it's any good will still be played in 10 years time, as D2 is today.

I suspect Normal difficulty will be easy, like D2. It generally is for all of the games of this type. Nightmare, Hell and Inferno difficulties should be anything but easy though. :)

Blizzard games have never been on Steam. I love Steam and all, but that's not going to stop me getting a great game.

"What if I'm on a plane?! Now I don't get on a plane very often, because I've got to buy two tickets, but that's a whole other thing!"

:D

Is it me, or does everyone that seems to want to play this off-line want to do it on a plane?

It's the part where he starts talking about 'cash money' is where I just can't take anymore and the inevitable creasing happens, Mission Impossible is proving rather impossible still :p
