If anyone has a guest pass,
i'll play this game all night 'til breakfast.

At which point its off to work,
where the waiting will truely drive me berzerk.

The hype for this game is truly great,
and I freely admit its got me in a right old state.

But I know it'll be worth all the fuss,
as Blizzard is a company I can trust.

I have 1 for you :)

Your trust isnt activated, where would you like me to send the code?

just installed no problems, took bout 15 mins.

has anyone set up the auction house with their paypal or how ever it works for real cash?

and

could this thread hit 200 pages before launch!

most talked about game on ocuk ever.

Nope, that trophy goes (by a landslide to) the battlefield 3 thread. Over a Million and a half views

That's exactly it.

Yea, you got it pretty much on the nose Johnny :)

Essentially yes, each magic and above item can be salvaged to create different raw materials, more advanced items will require better raw materials.

Ta:)
So instead of just selling all the gear you don't want/need you have to decide whether it's better to salvage it?
Will there be 'menus' of what can you create or do you have to figure it out yourself like the horadic cube thing in D2?

Menu's from what I saw in beta.

Does anyone have a guest pass for me? I would really appreciate it. Can respond in kind when I get my copy tomorrow, would like to play the start bit tonight. Hell I will even give you both my guest passes when they arrive if you want! :)

My email is in trust, otherwise I can leave it here but would prefer not to.

The artisans have a list of items they can craft, that said - the stats on those items are always random, so you'll never know what you're going to get aside from base armour/damage values.

Has anyone seen Grim Dawn? The spiritual sequel to Titan Quest - looks a fair bit better than Diablo 3 if i'm being honest. Not trying to troll, i'm just an old school D2 player that just loves this genre of games.

I really don't like the pay to get good potential in Diablo 3, everyone with money will have better gear because they can afford to pay for it.

Magic items can be broken down into magic substances, which is usually just a jar of some magic stuff. There is a chance it will break down into something more powerful than the generic jar of magic jam, like in the beta I got a Tooth of The Fallen (I think that was the name). It takes a certain number of jars of magic jam to make each item you want the blacksmith to make, as well as some gold. My general rule was to sell everything non-magical and to salvage everything magical.

Edit: And there are lists of items broken into categories like head, torso, feet. You can see the basic name of the item and it will say underneath "Plus 3 random properties" for example.

Ha, look at us all whoring ourselves out for a couple of hours gaming despite the fact we'll all get it tomorrow anyway!!

Screw it, I have no shame :p
Who wants a bl...... Nah, I'll wait.

I'm in the same boat as you, aslong as my copy lands tomorrow morning I'll be happy. I'm not coming near this thread from 11pm onwards though no offense lads I don't think I'll be able to listen to you all :P
