*** The Official Diablo III Thread ***

After a 1 year break I decided to start playing again and I'm really enjoying it. The problem is that I am really having a hard time finding a group, communities seem dead for some reason.

Currently 440+ Paragon U6 Monk, looking for some guys to play with on Season. 50+ grifts, rifts, ubers, keys, bounties, anything.

Add me if interested jETOCHI#2633

Anyone else starting to get bored already?

Apart from the achievements to get the season portraits it's just the same old.

I only need a few ancient upgrade pieces and this seasons done. Also paragon seems to be a lot easier to acquire this season, already over 200 after a few hours put in.

You should join the OCUK clan, we often have groups running.

I will probably get bored again at some point, but not yet! :)

The core of the game is good combat with lots of brainless killing, I still enjoy it. I do have other games to play though, so I will flip between them when I start to get bored.

Doing my head in trying to keep track of COE in the buff bar, jumps all over the place:mad:

Yeah, they are planning to address it at some point but it's really annoying with CoE trying to figure out what element your on. I mean you can look at your character but in group play there's so many spell effects and buffs going on that you can see neither.

First season I have properly tried and really enjoying it :p

Managed to do a GR50 on my Wizard thanks to a very timely Power Pylon.

Well behind the pack but learning I need to be more aggressive for solo rifts. Also tried the archon build but melts my hands...

Purchase went through fine, any tips for a newb? Things I should do/avoid/keep etc.

Just chilling & playing through the story on normal atm, how longs left on the season?

Yeah got some tips for ye:

1. Efficiency is key, killing too slowly on higher difficulties is not as good as killing quickly on lower. In addition killing too fast means you should up the difficulty a bit.

Whilst just levelling up you should find that "Hard" difficulty all the way is good.

2. The Story mode is kind of rubbish, you want to Unlock adventure mode and then just play in that as soon as you've been through Story mode once.

3. Pick up as much junk as you can whilst leveling up, you want to salvage anything you can't use for materials.

4. Keep all legendary items you find, even the low level ones. You will learn which are good/bad pretty quickly, when you're sure it's useless either add it to the cube or salvage it.

5. Running in groups is more fun/quicker. Assuming you're playing in Seasonal mode (you may as well if you've just started) then people here can help boost you. I would level my first character through myself though probably.

6. The real game starts at level 70 imo, gearing up, pushing higher difficulties etc.

Pretty sound advise above, though the first time through the story is quite good, at least I enjoyed it anyway. Cutscenes are well done.

Ill second the pick up as much stuff as you can levelling also, crafting materials are super useful once you hit 70! I wouldnt worry about selling the stuff you pick up for gold, salvage it all for the raw materials.

As for how long is left of the season, nobody really knows, but they have said that there are at least 2 more months, but more likely to be a lot longer than that based on length of other seasons.

Most of all, enjoy yourself!
