Like most im loving the season, cant say ive got bored yet but its hard to grind out those gem upgrades when you need to be doing 65+ runs.
Had some good games last night with grimreaper and vanquisher clearing 65 in 3's
Im always up for some bounties when people are on just give a shout as i always need those mats for filling my cube slots
Group of 4 can speed through those bounties on Torment 7

Same here, I'm using the sages journey set for farming tho, it helps.

Yeh I most likely will have to group up, tried a few solo 60 attempts - my damage is okay for the grift but even swapping all my gems for all res gems and a life gem
In the helm I get destroyed in 60 lol, took me 19mins (and a few deaths) to finish a 60. :-/

the only way I know to get the sub-2minute things, is to join the game, just as the boss is spawned and be there only for the kill of the boss...

Had some fast T8 rift runs last night which was pretty enjoyable. If anybody would like to join these tonight whisper me later on tonight! Ashley in clan, Duo character name.

So got my first ancient fist this season, think it will do nicely! Unfortunately I'm away for a weeks holidays now, but solo push on once I'm back!
God damnit grats mate, rolled 10% cdr as well fair play hopefully didn't cost to many re rolls! this is the last item i need

After 20 Hellfire Amulet crafts or so, I finally got a usable one for my WD, int + CC + CHD + socket with Swampland Attunement passive.
Now I need to get a decent ancient mojo so I can try GR 60+ with bears build, I have both ancient Scrimshaw and SuWong, just lacking the mojo to go with it, tried using non-ancient mojos I have, it was alright, just lacking a bit in damage.

Just an update - doing some TX rifts to get rift keys and legendaries, and managed to get the *finish a TX rift within 3 minutes* objective! Pure out of the blue, got really lucky with a rift - it was graveyard with a heavy amount of elites, literally walked into the rift and within seconds had 4-5 elites around, destroyed them easily (as a HoTA barb I can kill things pretty easy aslong as they are right infront of me) then the rest of the rift was very similar - bumb into an elite and another 1-2 roamed into the firing line - couldnt complain, was also pure luck of the draw, however having a lot of difficulty getting that level 60 grift solo - 57 is the highest I've done :-/ - I hope between tonight and/or tomorrow I'd be able to luck my way through a level 60 Grift and I finally gambled my way to an ancient Gavel of Judgement so fingers crossed it helps my progression !!

Thanks! But alas it was a 4 player public team Would take a lot more tries (or swapping out to WW) to solo that!

Tried to do GR60, perfect rift, very dense, no obstacles or walls to make zombie bears useless.
Ended up failing it because the game was literally unplayable.
Yeah, I'm gonna stop playing until they fix Helltooth lag and I don't want to level a new class to be able to play.

Seems it's unavoidable regardless of what you do or who you play with and the higher you go the worse it gets.
Here is what we did in our 4 men group:
- Setup: 2x carn WD, Support Barb + Monk (season)
- Everybody removed Area Damage, from gear & paragon
- Everybody removed Life on Hit
- The supports removed both toxin gems
- The DPS removed Fetish Scyophants passive
- Nobody was using Pain Enhancer
- We played on a Wednesday morning 2:00 AM, as far away from prime time as we could afford.
Then we tried to push for GR 76, mind you: we SEVERELY gimped our damage by all those limitations. And what happened? The game lagged out at the first big pack we got. It was so bad that our Barb actually got disconnected from the game because nothing happened forever.
So to sum up my current situation as a Witch Doctor: I cannot play Helltooth ever on Speedrifts or High rifts and I love this set. I cannot play Carnevil ever on High Rifts, often times I have to leave during the day when im on Carnevil WD in Speedrifts because the lag gets too bad. even under PERFECT conditions I am unable to push my gem levels and go for ranks.and/or play with my clanmates.
I am currently paragon 1050 on Season, I really enjoy the game and the meta, but the lag issue is making the game straight up unplayable for me. Lag has always been an issue in this game, since era 1, but now it gets to a point where I actually can not play anymore.
This has been said a billion times but I want to keep raising this topic so Blizzard acknowledges the URGENCY of this topic and takes action as soon as possible. This is not a small quality of life request, its a request to be able to play the game I paid for.
tl;dr: We did everything to reduce the lag - lagged out. game is unplayable for me right now.

Looks like density is the problem, at high GR it takes a while for monsters to die, and while you're killing them, you eventually pull in more, that increases the amount of calculation done.
It's still a lot worse with Helltooth though, especially with Acid Cloud build, huge amount of monsters with all of them having multiple sources of DoT on them, ouch.
So until they fix this annoying issue, I'm gonna play Pillars of Eternity and maybe give Path of Exile a go, the game's free.
