?? I've gained over 15gfs on DH so not sure what build your using :D

Latest PTR patch.

It got changed last night, look it up.

Manticore cluster damage is now 60-80% over 75-100%

Cluster arrows got changes across the board, they now fire less rockets. Shooting Stars fires 2 instead of 3, and Maelstorm a whopping 3 instead of 5. That's a 33% and 40% reduction respectively. Rockets accounted for 68% of your damage.

Sorry I didn't read your message properly, I thought you meant a general nerf overall and that the manticore had also been nerfed.

I don't use the manticore builds prefer yangs that's been buffed to the moon in the PTR especially with the updated dead mans legacy.

Yeah, that's the problem. UE is still overall in a pretty bad shape when compared to what the other classes were hitting, Wizard and Sader especially. M6 and S6 were able to level the playing field, but both got hit by huge nerfs today.

Things as they are, nobody is going to want to play with a DH again in groups for S5. :(

Yea we are still under powered sadly compared to the other classes, UE would have been better served gaining 10-15% damage / discipline instead of the 5% it's been given. I do however think the gap is closing. Nothing can compete with the monk still.

Funny because my friend always complains that monks are underpowered because my DH can push a lot further in grifts, but he won't take any build advice and is adamant his build is as good as monks can get (yet he can't do 30 grifts) :D I know monks can push 100 on 2.4

Well, the gap had closed just before the last PTR change. Most classes hovered around 80, except for the Wizard, Sader (too high) and WD (too low)

Both the Wizard and Sader got rightfully nerfed, but the DHs and WDs also got nerfed.

And I was looking forward to this patch as well.

It's all subjective to change of course, so much has been altered already I expect a lot more changes before launch. I only tinker on the ptrs for a few hours prefer to play on the normal server so my progress is actually meaningful.

Blizzard already said no more major playstyle changes, just hotfixes.

With 3 weeks left until the patch is out, they don't have much time to change much major things. :(

I didn't mean any major gameplay play style changes, just balancing of classes ect!

I have to say I'm really looking forward to the patch coming out :) more so than I was with 2.3 hopefully it will add to the game either way :) I don't aim to be competitive I just enjoy playing by myself and with friends :D though it's nice to land on the leaderboards every now and then!

Really hope we see some action ref the botting problem in the game

Blizzard wont do **** about botting. It makes no difference to them now since they removed the AH, the only people who get penalized for it are streamers / youtubers who get caught and blizzard need to make a point. but the point is that they really don't care unless you are making some form of money from it.

Just trying Diablo 3 on pc, played the console version for quite a while! one thing about that is they made it work on a controller really well, almost too well as this is taking some adjusting grin emoticon moving with the stick and being able to evade with the right stick while still attacking was great!

dont think you can roll etc on pc?

Trying a Wizard and they seem pro! can only play on Normal on the starter edition which sucks as tbh Hard or Expert is Diablos "Normal" mode really and you get more exp for playing there!

Is there anyway to give the visuals a boost? maybe a mod or popular sweetfx? any pro tips for playing on pc?

Thanks

Don't think you can boost the visuals in any way, but I could be wrong. As Blizzard is trying to promote online competition via Seasons they don't really condone or support modding etc for Diablo 3. It should look better than the console version though unless you've got a really old PC or GPU.

As for tips on PC : in options switch on elective mode so you have the freedom to use any combination of skills you want.

There are some ENBs that make the game a lot darker :) can't recall the names as not used them for years

Tips : don't die, play in groups if you can!

That's a very nice Yangs!

Thanks :)

Just been on the PTR doing a bit of fiddling. The ptr does not seem to hate me this round. Enjoying how ive got the DH set up even more now :)

Cut that rift really close for comfort haha! the actual time was 14:59.983 Rank 266 on the solo leader board for it :D - Blighter caused me real issues in that rift. Was a small hallway fight.

Yeah the leaderboards were ripe for the pickings after Season 4 ended :)

I spent a few hours sorting my stash and then logged of again. Ill come back when the 2.4 patch lands and try to chalk off the set dungeons before the season starts.

Just hope the patch drops on 6th or 8th of Jan rather than wating till the reset before Season 5.

Still cant decide what i want to play in Season 5.

Flavour of the season will no doubt be Crusader but ill prob just wing it

Gearing is gonna be even quicker this time round with the free set items from each stage of the seasonal journey.
