***** The Official Division Thread *****

that's very interesting viewpoint :)

Raid = Incursion
IB (LAG) = Darkzone
POE = Underground

Division got cosmetic items, destiny asking for same feature since day one (transog) not seen a single person with same look or build in division ever.

Division guns (exotic) look very different, just not best in game, but destiny exotic not best in game as well.

weapons you are chasing in destiny are same guns since 2013 (next DLC about weapons you already got) also very few new guns in destiny most are reskin

Destiny content don't get updated with next DLC, division getting bigger.

i'm not saying divison got every right, it's not. for a game thats only had 1 weapon balance patch, 1 paid DLC and only 4 month old. done way more then destiny in same timeframe

my biggest problem with division will be gearscore on items, i'm not going after same item again and again need to sort something out before next DLC and they need to sort out named weapons (exotic) seem stuck in time :(

Your right, I guess I just became bored of doing the same runs and getting nothing good/rubbish rolls etc and thought to myself "what am I levelling towards?".

I'll have to join up with some of the people here because I just get ganked in the DZ before I can get my stuff out when I'm on my own and trying to run things with randoms is a pain (works sometimes).

Also I was enjoying the game until I hit the wall at about GS190-200 and don't like glitching/cheating so everyone I met either kicked me or shot me lol. I'll have to get stuck into underground and see if I can get some decent gear because getting one shotted in the DZ takes the mick.

Its like playing destiny solo, raid are impossible, IB just playing against teams, nightfall are not fun.

Yes Division got match making for everything, but does it make it great every time? nope, but gives you option to try the mode with random group

Everyone got to stop looking at gearscore, it's not destiny light level.

you have gear sets and builds, you can't all be same e.g. need skill build player, need dps player, need a tank, we just try and carry extra player (moe or cadmonkey) :D

Wow i'm still nowhere near 255 gearscore, what gear you running? how long did it take?

Not long at all, maybe a few days to get 255. The underground caches always gave me the highest stuff because I was ~228 before the patch and then a couple of HVTs for the rest of the gear.

I actually just made myself a full Tactician's build from bits I had lying around / the BoO vendor to play around with Skillpower because I was floating so many Phoenix Coins and crafting bits.

Getting slightly frustrated with the PvP Element, I know the whole thing about GS is complete tosh. But getting gangked by a 220GS running a shotty with about 150k DPS cause of savage gloves, reckless chest and other goodies like 4 piece strikers with the buff all the way up is just a joke.

Game broke much???

Anyone still plugging away with this?

Nope, binned it off months ago. I still keep my eye out to see whether they've made any interesting changes to the end game, but it appears not.

I'm not overly impressed I bought the season pass, but ho hum.

I was one of the games biggest fans with over 500 hours logged. Even I've had to move away as it just doesn't feel rewarding once you've accumulated a few GS 268 gear sets. You want to perfect your loadout, but it has become so hard to find anything thats actually an upgrade you play for hours and hours and never got what you want.

Wouldn't mind so much if the content was fun, but its got very repetitive for me. Will likely come back later in the year when there's new content and 1.4 has been released.

Nope, left ages ago and don't miss it in the slightest. Can't believe someone compared the Incursions to Destiny's raids above, they're not even in the same league.

Such a shame really as the game had so much potential. The biggest problem is that the end game activities are so poor compared to the rest of the game. The best part of The Division is easily all the story missions you go through. They are miles better than anything else available.

At least the developers have now finally admitted they know there is a lot wrong with the game, and are trying to take steps to sort it out. I think it's too little too late for me, but fingers crossed they can make some positive changes to help the people who are still plugging away at the game.

I was thinking about this the other day, I think they tried to copy Diablo but forgot that in Diablo you have a lot of classes. So even if they have a large pool of set gear your class has a handful and most are useful, so your loot pool is generally much smaller. Also in D3 loot rains from the skies, a 5min great rift was netting me about 3-4 greens so it was much easier to farm up useful stuff and as such the incremental upgrade model worked for the most part.

Also because you have a layer that is sub classes you could work for varies builds then once you have basically min/max them all just pick up another sub class you find interesting rinse and repeat.

Doesn't help either getting Delta errors on The Underground (PS4), Loads have been complaining about it. Still getting it now.

Got one today during third stage of an underground mission. Wasn't too happy!! Its bad enough trying to get into a good enough group of randoms that can get past one stage these days without the game crashing as well!

I gave up on this game about a week after launch. Ploughing a gazillion bullets in to someone who looks just like me wasn't my idea of fun. If something's going to take that much killing I expect it to be a massive fire breathing dragon, not a dude with a gun and an armour plated vest.

The most interesting fight was the heli at the end, and even that was meh.

The worst part is i had really high hopes for it so convinced loads of our peeps to buy it. They spent £45 buying it and now I've lost all credibility.

It's rubbish IMO, but then I've been spoilt by loads of other games which are good.

I played it for about a week or so and binned it off.

As has been said, once you've done the story, the end game it's self is garbage.

I didn't make it to end game, could see where it was heading so packed it in early before I was tempted to buy the season pass. A shame as I was enjoying it (story)

Despite massive issues (pun intended) I've put 16 days playtime in to it and really enjoyed it, not playing now as there's nothing left to do.

It's a shame they're having to make such huge adjustments to it as I can't see myself going back tbh, especially when there's games such as Witcher 3 to be played :D
