Have we, as in OcUK, got a CMDR list of us members? Might be nice to chat to others in game from these forums, granted we may not be playing together as we could be millions of miles away but would be nice to chat at least.. thoughts? or has it been done already?

The cutter is what I have my eye on next but I've got some ways to go to save for it, loving the clipper for trade and once I've got a good cash buffer up I'm tempted to re-fit it for some bounty hunting as I think it should fair pretty well, it has so far when I get interdicted (when I have shields of course!)

I'm exploring a quiet corner of the galaxy, haven't seen another "discovered by" system for weeks; today I bumped into a system "discovered by Major Tom", seemed appropriate

A few of us are on the Mobius group which is very friendly and good to chat to fellow commanders. My advice is to go there and join up
It is a fantastic ship and by far my favourite out of all my ships (Corvette/Anaconda/Python/Asp/Cobra Mk3/Mk4). Good for fighting as well but slow to turn.

Nice one for those joining Mobius A great way to play without the worry of griefers and with so many joined, if you are in the bubble, you are never far away from players
Don't forget to say Hi and add your name to the players list (if you want to add a few in-game people that is)

I'm a bit bored with trading for the moment, so I bought an Asp fitted it with a couple of hangers and headed over to the Pleiades nebula to look for Aliens!
Its actually the first time I have used the buggy despite having Horizons for a bit and its quite good fun, found a couple of crashed ships so far but no signs of little green men yet though
Think I will by an xbox controller though as it does not feel right using stick/throttle for the buggy

The Asp is my favourite VR ship and my favourite explorer. I am not that fussed about planetary landings and have to admit, a little disappointed with the content but it will get better and I fully expect more content to come in time.

Hunt around on the FD forums and you'll find some good things.
Personally, I just got stuck into missions that are available via the BBs in game.
Note that there's some useful websites around supporting info on where to find things and enabling ideas on how to build a ship, e.g.
