4OD app now out!! Anyone used it yet, I'm just downloading now :)

EDIT: Early impressions are good, certainly loads quicker than iPlayer PQ looks better as well. Just watching an episode of Friday Night Dinner now :)

Just got it now myself, its free atm but will have a price on it soon so grab it now, just been watching a doc on it and am well impressed

love the new VEVO app must have spent 4 hours on it last night

Why do you think it will have a price soon? The BBC iplayer app is still free:confused:

I got the VEVO app as well, saves ever having the buy music videos from iTunes again :)

Its an app that utilizes the ipad as a second (or 3rd..4th....) screen for your windows PC.

It works very well, just requires a tiny bit of software running on the host machine.

Currently FREE!!

I gave Splashtop a try and then bought it, it works really well. It uses it's own server software, but that allows you to stream video and sound which I don't think you can do under normal VNC. There's a free version that gives you a five minute demo.
 
I did try it briefly with one video file stored on a netbook and found it to be less than watchable. Not sure if that was down to the video file, the netbook or the network speed though. Due to stability issues, I am currently running at G speeds, having had a few issues with my router in N mode. One of these days I will have to actually update the router firmware and see if that helps.

I love this app, it's my most used application haha...W7 on the iPad
