AvplayerHD i use on ipad2
Runs mkvs in hd, ftp and wifi xfer of filea to its own segment of the hd also

Hmm, i need an app or some way of sending photos using google hotmail or yahoo, not using the inbuilt email program, so i can save a pic, send it, and leave no trace
Suggestions?

AVPlayerHD is good although it's necessary to copy media to the device as it doesn't support streaming. Buzz HD supports streaming from network shares.

It does but i'm not sure why you'd want to? You'd stream media from PC -> IPad -> Apple TV? They need to just let you run apps on the Apple TV.

Reason is that avi files can't be added to iTunes so can't stream directly to ATV so has to go PC>iPad>ATV unless there is another way to get avi's onto the big screen?

Buying a media streamer that isn't made by Apple! Or building an HTPC is likely the best but most expensive solution.

Are there other media streamers out there that do the job of ATV (photo slideshow etc at the touch of a button from the iphone/Ipad) but that will also stream avi's?

There's the Flickr app but for an alternative try FlickStackr as its a much nicer interface.

The free one (FlickStackrXP) is functionally the same but you can only view the last 30 or 50 images in each view. Ended up getting the main version after using the freebie.

Is there an app out there that will allow someone to sign directly onto a PDF? Eg scan a letter (or save as PDF) open in the app and add a section someone can electronically sign using a stylus and then save as a PDF complete with electronic signature.
