The *Official* Eve Online Thread

Alright guys I need some direction. At the moment i've been playing 13 or 14 days and i've got a caldari merlin frigate, with two rail guns and two small missle launchers, and about 3 million ISK (lol, I know very poor). I'm wondering which ship you would recomend to move onto next (as in like a week or two from now after I make more money and get the skills trained.) as I have absolutely no idea at all. I want to do the NPC missions, and maybe a bit of mining if I have to (Not done much at all of that yet). Thanks.

Also, is there a way to move up to more difficult NPC missions without waiting for the fraction standing to increase? Because the missions i've got right now are way too easy and pay is absolutly terrible all the sudden.

Unfortunately there is no quicker way to get better missions than to grind them.

You want to consider if you want a Carcal or Moa cruiser next. :)
 
Train the Social and connections skills, they will rapidly improve your standings (and rewards!) from/to agents, allowing you to progress up the ladder faster.

I've had this before, but not all in one place, and not been in this situation for a long time, it was also nice that it was a decent large rat that took me over the mark.

So now I start spending again on lovely expensive modules :)

Where do I apply for Eve meals on wheels?

I suppose it would be called Chips and Peas via MWDs or somthing to that effect.

Actually I've had a 7 belt system going for a few hours this evening.

I'd not been in the system long when I took that shot - One has to kill off the lesser spawns to make space for the big ones.

lol I only just broke the 75 million mark for only the SECOND time in two years of playing Eve :D

thankfully it was a local hull conversion selling that did it for me :) my first > 10million ISK loot in two years of playing

Welcome to the club :cool:.

I'm quite proud of the fact that I made my first billion from pvp. I joined BE with 75 mil to my name and 2 months later was in the club. I never imagined that was possible. I now have almost 4 bil in isk + 500mil assets + 3 characters I bought on the forums worth another 4 bil.

Thats the problem. I have nothing to spend my money on. I don't loose enough ships so my balance keeps going up and up. I bought a research character, but he dropped a t2 bpo so I made a profit out of that. I have no use for a carrier or a dread. BE don't do pos wars. Besides, I have other more important skills to train up too. I just don't know what to do with it all.

I downloaded the trial last night and worked through the tutorial. I think I'm going to subscribe but will I lose the character from my trial account and have to create a new one later?

ahh man, server downtime until 2 O CLOCK!!! :( heres me with sod all to do at work and eve installed on the server and i cant freakin play it. typical lol.


EDIT: would ocuk hate me if i joined a different corp? im thinking of joining a mining corp
