I was quite surprised how quickly he went down, I think it was under about 2 or 3 mins. The adrenaline was pumping quite hard as it was my first Solo Officer spawn. I think it was a god send that I warped 5km on top of them. Had it been 40km or 70 km away it would have taken a lot longer and my tank might have not held up.

100mn Afterburner. Using on my Complex Tempest set-up
Stasis Webifier, Using on my Sansha hunting Muninn
800mm Repeating Artillery, Selling
Ballistic Control Unit Possibly selling, but might use it on an Alts PoS/Support Raven.

Also last week I found a really silly skill training pre-requisite/module fitting bug when queuing up my skill for dreads.

hey people currently flying a rifter and me and 3 other peeps from the corp go ratting nearly every night

im currently fitted with

2 x 200mn autocannons
missile launcher
1 x N.O.S
AB
and 2 shield boosters

now what i do i get in their fast an orbit them at 500m and use the N.O.S whilst hitting them with the 2 x 200 canons now im thinking of getting a ship

but what im after is a ship thats the same as the rifter but basically has better fire power because the rifter doesnt damage em all that well
(0.1 sec) because these people are 50k - 200k bountys


wondered what you people would suggest

Lose the *** and fit another launcher. Load launchers with sabretooth. Thats the em problem solved.

The rifter is the best tackling frig in game unless you can fly intys ?

Suppose your right, since the wolf got a boost not so long back.

But i took it that he could only fly standard frigs.
 
hence my suggestion to train for them :P

More firepower, and native EM resist of 92.5%, and native therm resist of 82ish% will make ratting sanshas a doddle.

your probably along way from Assualt frigates,
i beleive that that best Cruiser ftting your requirements is the Stabber, has a speed boost per level of Cruiser iirc.

And also what do you mean by Rifter not doing EM Damage, Minmatar guns can do all types of damage, depending on what ammo you use, in the case for EM damage use EMP ammo.
 
Mizuro's tag is worthless btw. I've had one in Empire for many months and it doesn't even sell for 10 mil on Escrow.

YIP did a bit of research and even auction for 5mill dont sell,

i ma start collecting them, first Angel then Sansha etc,

Would be quite nice to have as trophies.
 
Does anyone know if the markets still meant to be down in the Sing Liaison region. I got a message a week or so ago about the market being taken down due to possible insider trading or something. No mention if it was temporary or permenant, whether it was effecting everyone or just me. I've been set up in the Dodixie region since the game was first released, but since they've moved agents there its gone all to pot. I cant really move elsewhere as most of my resourses and a load of ships are all based there. Finding it all a bit crappy at the moment.

Typhoon
It's not really a far off from being a good ship. The optimal range bonus is mostly wasted on it so we've changed it to launcher rate of fire. It still has that split weapon system you hate so much but you should be more satisfied with the damage output of it.

Tachyon Beams
They're not really worth fitting over mega beams right now. The damage output has been increased slightly, the tech 1 from 4.25 to 4.5.

Tracking Bonuses
They are not really that good so they are getting increased. All bonuses that were 5% per level are now 7.5% per level and those that were 7.5% per level are 10% per level.

Assault Ships
There is not going to be any drastic assault ship overhaul but there are some frigs we are going to give a slight boost to keep them inline with other assault ships. The ones we're giving a boost are Vengeance, Hawk and Jaguar. Again I remind you that this is nowhere near final.

Vengeance - It has the damage output of a wet paper towel. Well not really but it still a bit odd that it doesn't have a single damage bonus. The cap recharge rate bonus has been replaced with small laser damage bonus.

Hawk - Its going to be a missile assault ship. Its gettting 4 missile hardpoints, the launcher rate of fire bonus changed to a 5% kinetic missile damage and the hybrid optimal changed to either missile velocity or missile damage. As it is now both bonuses are damage.

Jaguar - We've changed the projectile optimal range bonus to ship velocity, The Jaguar then becomes kind of a hybrid between an interceptor and an assault ships. It could also do with a tiny bit of cpu upgrade.
