Ribbo try something like:

5x Heavy ion II

standard mids

1x medium repper
3x magstab II
1x whatever, i use either nanofiber or a damage control here usually

kicks out about 350dps sans drones :)

Also whilst we are on the topic of the vaga/stabber i love flying my stabbers and usuall fit them for maximum speed, i.e mwd and nanofibers with some ac's and heavy missiles up top, it's fun but it doesnt do enough damage, the amount of times i wish i was flying the vaga instead is not even worth counting!
Or you could go for electrons and a better tank:

5x Heavy Electron II

Standard mids

Med Repper II, 800mm Plate, EAN II, Mag Stab II, CPR

I'm still undecided about the amount of tanking required on a thorax. I find you're either dead because you can't get into blaster range (webbed/double webbed) or outpaced or you own whatever it is you decide to fire at. Obviously plates don't help with regards to speed, thus a damage control can be a good idea... it effectively increases your hit points by some margin. I sometimes like to go for a tracking disruptor or a sensor dampener over a webber or scrambler, but obviously it depends what sort of group you're flying with, if any.

Muffin did you sell a character or are you really leet at multitasking to get both the vexor and curse characters that I thought you owned, onto the same successive killmails?

He was flying both...

... shame he got out-damaged by a 'Ranis ;)

ahhhhhhhh
4 days till minmater cruiser 5 :D
stupid me forgot to train Focus and Clarity so I'd been sitting here thinking "why is this taking so long?", meh another reason I've only got 31mill SP

incidently has anyone got a decent med blaster setup for a thorax? both tanked and untanked :D

Ribbo

Tanked - 5 heavy electron 2's
1 mwd, 1 web, 1 7.5km scram
1 med rep, 2 EAMN, 1 explosive hardener, 1 800mm plate
5 Valk 2's or other

Untanked - 4 heavy ion 2's 1 heavy neutron 2
same as above
1 SAR 2, 2 EAMN 2, 2 Mag stab 2

Well that's what I use. You may want to have a play with med *** if it's for any sort of solo work

EAMN.. that meant to be EANM (Energised Adaptive Nanofibre Membrane) or is it something else?

Also will the 20k fit (not checked numbers..) and/or pwn cap?

20K, always always always

Well with my skills it won't fit and to be trueful I fly with gang members more then solo so it's not initial tackle it's more a hold.

And yes I did mean EANM or however you say it.

easier to hold but geting the scram is harder with the extra distance to cover, cybernetics 1 and -3% impalnt to turret fittings will sirt you out with the fitting, or get weapon upgrades

Yea, on slow ships I always go for 20K, even went for one on my Ishkur, so a few people could get away, but atleast I knew they had WCS. :)

I'd train weapon upgrades over a reliance on implants, helps in the long run too. But Muffin is 100% right you should not be fitting 7.5kms, imo, on anything other than a frig, because if you are in a gang of its pretty laughable if you carry 6 points but everything warps away from you at 10km!

Gatecamps, stations, belts its always always more useful to be able to hold them from a distance, the only exception is if you have covops warp in.

I put 2x 20k on my intys in gangs, its a bit of a joke on an unbubbled camp if you are missing targets when the intys have to travel 15km outwards from the gate before they can lock down a jump in

Hey guys im in 2 minds about coming back to this game. I played this for 4 months about 9 month ago, Really Enjoyed the game, hated it for dying and loosing ships :D..BUT is it worth me coming back? Has it changed a lot? Is it easier? or Harder?

My last character was a Caldari of some sort, with 1 Scorpion, 1 Raven, 1 Dominix, multiple cruisers, tons of frigs. and about 400mill isk. now i know that account is sadly gone, but can i get it back?

Also is there many corps i can join once again, people that arent twits, and are active...last corp there was 50 members, only 17 active at one time.

Cheers for any help/advice on this, as EVE has sort of captured me again  god help me.

They hold the right to delete accounts but non have ever been deleted due to time lapse, so it will all be there. no idea on what corp you'd want to join thou pve/pvp

you see ive tried to login using my account, it wont allow me to login, so im guessing its gone for good. i guess its back to stage 1..

Actually ignore that above, it does indeed work.

so my question is it actually worth me coming back?

AND, as for corp choices, a bit of both, not really fussed or have a personal favourite at all, as long as the people im flying with arent complete twits it should be easy for both counts of PVE/PVP

From my point of view... no, but gimmie your stuff and your isk :D

But if the only reason you quit because the corp was inactive then just find a decent corp, there are advertisements on the Eve-o boards or join a community corp like ocuk
