The *Official* Eve Online Thread

Foxor, try some of the agents with Aliastra in Nani, they are only 4 jumps from Isikano (I am assuming that is where you were trying to be close to) but are a gallente faction corporation... as is potique pharmacuticals also in nani.
 
Davey's still trying to sort out the stickys as we're only meant to have 3 maximum. Also 2 of them are WoW related, 1 is Guild Wars and the other is just general things.

Just thought I'd mention Kinsy, about that microphone I ordered on the 12th of September at that other place I can't mention here... they now tell me, that what I ordered is out of stock. :mad:

It'd be comical if it wasn't my time and money. :(
 
This thread rocks..yep but it doesnt need to be a sticky, as long as people keep posting it will stay at the top of the thread list,

Everyone rate it max stars so it stands out more though :p
 
just over 5 days foir Warhead Upgrades 4 but im sort of taking a time out from eve to play other stuff and get ready for Uni, so itll be cool to come back and find my missiles do an extra TWO PERCENT :p more damage :D
 
Im just starting up on eve now, playing the free trial and still thoroughly confused about a lot of things. I just grasped what i actually have to do with my skills now, and how the stats really relate too all my skill increase times.

Definitely gonna look for a corp if i subscribe, but first i need to figure out what i can do in eve :/

Downloaded this earlier but I'm having a serious issue (technical) - whenever I start it up and get into the game the fan on my gfx card starts to go crazy as though it's being severely overloaded, and then within minutes the game will just drop back to desktop.

I've tried turning down the graphics settings but I would have hoped that my box would be able to run this no problem;

AMD Athlon 3700+
Epox 9NPA+ Ultra
2GB OCZ
Sapphire Radeon X800 XL
SoundBlaster Live!

The game looks absolutely stunning (at least as stunning as the inside of a spaceport can look) but I can barely get through 2 or 3 stages of the tutorial before it drops out.

Any ideas?
 
It should run fine on that rig...

Have you got the latest GFX drivers... I've found that I get some GUI bugs if the drivers are out of date... Nothing that bad though :|
 
I have also noticed that my fan (same card near enough) goes ballistic on me whenever playing EVE, also the Temps rise very high, but i didnt think EVE was that graphicly taxing to a graphic card...as for the booting, some people have real troubles with this problem, try uninstalling and downloading it again then install, could be a corrupt file somewhere.

Edit/ Also dont Alt Tab out of the game so often as that casues it to boot....run it in Window Mode at your desktop resolution then you can minimize it whenever...that has solved a lot of peoples problems in my Corp.

THe other thread seems to have dissapeared :/ ? how can i get in touch with the ocuk CEO or something, im in need of guidance it seems as im completely lost goal wise...
 
Great thread lads keep it up. Sounds like an excellent game, I would love to play it but no doubt it will take up too much of my life as these games tend to do.

How much does it cost to play BTW?
