While moving back upto the north during the middle of last week, i was jumped by an ASCN Rifter, closely followed by 5 of his mates. The Ceberus gets a 20% damage bonus to kinetic heavy missles( with my current skills) and mine where hitting him for about 46-56 damage each, and thats with heavys, assualt frigate, im not sure how the resistances stackup, but cruise not a hope in hell that a cruise will do more than 20 damage. Cruise do about 16 damage to my Harpy and about 98 damage if im being a prat with an mwd on it.

Nah my cerb got out alive, i was transporting it to dek, at peak time with the cargo full of juicy stuff so i had the lows crammed with WCS, if i had BCS it woulda been a different matter entirely. and thats why stabs are a bad thing
because otherwise you would have fitted an offensive module and killed him and had a hoot legging it..
i would say a good pen for fitting stabs would be for a HP deduction from the ship that's being flown like with nanofibres.. and maybe a deduction in hull resistances. that'll stop you wimps using em

Sure i woulda killed him, but the other ASCN that were attacking me at the time would have nailed me for sure, if i was out hunting i wouldnt fit WCS as they are just plain insulting, but since i was transporting i had no choice, im not gonna take the chance with a 100m uninsurable ship with 200m worth of crap in the hold.
As for the HP reduction, tbh that is a riduculous idea. Dirty pirate scum, such as yourself
already have it too easy. Its easy for you to kit up for ganking and sit on a gate for five hours, other people have a other things that they need to do, hence the need for WCS. If they have any stacking or hp effects it give the gankers all the power, which is bad for the userbase as a whole and especially new players.

one of the fleet scouts tried to pin me, while the rest of your fleet jumped in, i was BBQing the scout, until i saw another 10-15 ascn jump into system, 3-5 of them warped to me, engaged me. I knew it was time to bug out then, with a non pvp fitted cerb i knew id be toast versus a swarm of frigs

From what I can see using the ingame "see other wars" fuction, virtually every major alliance is at war with each other, IRON/G/PA/[5]/SA/SE/ASCN/BOB/FE etc. etc.. Must have easily 13k members involved in the current fights. Dear god I love how this shizzle goes in game. People in empire must be wondering whats going on with all the gankings up there (take a look at the "pilots killed in the last 24 hours" mode on the map. Tis a lot more combat in empire atm)
