How are G's mining slaves coping up North with no one protecting them?

Fine, minimal disruption, if i were you id be more worried about ASCN's appearance on killboards and the defense of your region rather than a region that doesnt concern you :P

Besides i wouldnt say there was no one to defend them, us being a relatively small corp with an active contingent of about 8ish pvp'ers has racked up over 40-50 kills in the last month, 90% from the southern alliances.

Can you make that your last flame bait post please Skully?

What's the best way to get into a corp that holds a foothold in 0.0 space? I'm 'still' based in verge vendor, and there's a whole heap of inviting 0.0 space not 6 jumps away, Syndicate region. Is there a good way of telling which corp is based in which area? I've been told that no one corp/alliance controls Syndicate, how accurate is this?

Not too sure regarding syndicate, but if you interested in comming north, i can try and have a word with the IRON peeps.

Cheers Dan. I'm sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but..... when you say 'north', would that still put me in Gallente space, or is it a case of missioning where I am now, then commuting for some 0.0 fun? I've got some very nice standings with the Fed navy, and a few of the Gallente npc corps, and I don't want to start chipping that down by doing missions for 'the opposition'.

Which region are you refering to?

Cheers :)

No worries, more specifically Deklein and pureblind.

There are Sisters of Eve agents in the area, missioning for SOE will increase you standing with ALL factions within the eve universe. Although after a day or two you will discover its more profitable to just npc hunt in the belts.

On sunday i managed to snag, 3 dread gurista battleship spawns, bounties in excess of 5m each plus a 3mills worth of escort per spawn, plus about 200m worth of loot, which is actually rather poor for DG spawns. Although a corp mate looted 2 rattlesnake BPO's last month, worth about 1.5bill each :)

Holy crap! Will log into the OcUK channel ingame channel, and chat to you about it there. What's your ingame name?

With regards to your BS spawns, what ship were you flying when you made the kills? Do you think a T1 kitted Megathron or domi could handle those?

Well personally i fly a cerberus or a harpy and occasionally a Raven.

My brother has jsut started playing within the last 3.5 months, he has 4m skill points and flys a raven and he can handle the spawns fine. A corp mate rats in a domi and a couple use megas with blasters and mwd's, but that is a little risky imo. My harpy can tank pretty much any spawn in the region as long as i can nuke the frigates asap. If you can kill the frigs your onto a winner as you wont be scrambled then :)

My ingame name is Commander Solo, alternatively join the D-F-C channel and we can have a chat. :)

Thanks, dan :) Time to leave the arms of the carebear npc corp, and break my teeth on the real game :)

Forgive my ignorance.... Iron, that's an alliance, right, rather than a corp? Which Corp's are in it, as I've had a look at the political map off the EvE online website, and can't quite make sense of it :)

No worries mate. There are many corporations within IRON. I dont know all of them but they can be found in the alliances section of the eve-o site, which i cant link to as our ICT policy blocks it, something that il have to get addressed, now im incharge of ICT projects :P

D-F-C isnt a part of IRON, we are friend of IRON which grants us quite a bit of flexibility :)

ascn are getting spankypoo's by G, ascn monkeys have been told not to engage unless they know for sure they'll win etc and not to use expensive modules
LOLtastic. I've not been told any of that and I don't know anyone who has.

K.

Dan, just to complicate matters.... I've been invited into a new corp that's started local to me, and I've accepted. I figure I'll get my feet wet corpwise first, then if that doesn't work out (or they turn out to be a bunch of idiots) I'll take you up on your offer.

Sure, good luck with it :D

I'm still using plenty of T2 modules in the ships I'm flying... and i'm not even rich.
dunno.gif

As soon as RMR comes out, G's POSes will get taken down with ease.

Nice to see G giving ASCN a bit of a spanking tho, i noticed on the eve news the otherday that ASCN greeted G with 5 Dread's, nice, thats 5 pilots that coulda been in useful ships :P
The 5 Dreadnoughts where deployed to target their Large PoS.
So your saying that 5 Dreadnoughts taking a Large PoS into Reinforced mode in under 120 mins, (iirc) is not useful. What Ship is better at doing that then.

A part true,
We have been told not to engage in large Fleet Ops, the LAG is just too much, it causes too many losses on both sides.
As for the use of Expensive Modules. Throw away ships like Vigil, Caracels, Kessies, Rax's and the like are not worth the effort to fit Tech II or named Modules. Plus those who use Tech II may not have them available at the time.
I know for one that ui am still waiting for 18 x 1400mm II from my supplier with 18 day waiting, and them i am only going to get 6 at a time. so my 3 Tempest are just idle at the moment.

oohhh, ok then, in the future can you pull something that will give me pleasure ;) xx.

A vid has been made of the PoS Assualt, but wont be release to the public unless Bosses want it too, (think it wont be as its not very good Quality.

Oh Just for the record, while the dreadnoughts were sieging the PoS, they where not targetted once by the PoS or defending ships, hehehe. Although both sides did take losses.
