I don't know wtf Rose was doing....I skipped through a lot. Did she really think she was ahead? Totally deserved to lose the belt.

At least the fights either side were quality.....hell of a KO from Chandler....and Oliveira proving he's the real deal.

I like Tony sad to see him go down like that, he looked pretty good and as mentioned it’s a toss up between him and Bones for being the most comfortable on the back with the most severe Elbows. Chandler though is a beast he’s on a mission and he would eat McGregor up if he comes back, let him fight Charles for the belt.

I feel like whoever is going to beat Charles needs to have their ego in check and not go all YOLO once they land some strikes. Justin hit him with some big shots but got carried away by that and starting throwing huge (and clearly telegraphed) wild bombs and in doing so left himself vulnerable; apparently the ‘new’ Justin that methodically pieced Tony up got triangled by Khabib and hasn’t been seen since given his fight against Chandler was full Leroy Jenkins as well.

Be interesting to see if Islam just completely disrespects Oliveira‘s BJJ like Khabib did with RDA back in the day or if when he gets his chance or if he just tries to keep it on the feet.

Leroy Jenkins :D

Didn't see that kick coming at all did he? Agree, sad to see Tony lose so many in a row but he's lost to the top guys in what is easily the best and tightest division in the UFC. No real shame in that. Was Makhachev not lined up to fight Dariush? What happened to that? Personally would still like to see that and soon so winner can face up against Oliveira for undisputed title.

They all want to fight Connor because it big money and they all think they'll beat him, which I think they will but I don't think Connor is making 155 anytime soon. There is still talk of a trilogy fight to see out Nate Diaz's contract but to me seems a bit pointless other than to give Nate a "testimonial"

Noticed this morning Volk V Max is on the Izzy card for 276 in July. Belter of a card that one.

Agree 100% - the best thing about that fight (and I use the word loosely) was the commentary!

I think it was DC that said they should have a 3rd fight and Rogan says "you want to watch this again???"

Very telling that despite just having won a world title, the first word out of Joe's mouth weren't "congratulations"

As mentioned Bellator 281. Paul Daley's final fight. He's fighting Wendell Giácomo.

The main event is MVP vs Logan Storley.

Pre-lims can be seen on BBC iPlayer from 6pm, and the main card at 9pm.

He’s just holding on for dear life, abysmal stuff

They need a new metric for “riding leg” time because this guy has it in abundance. Who has he knocked out? They’ve got to be real bad.

Storley has some of the worst standup I’ve ever seen in mma

i agree, this guys standup is a travesty. Not thrown anything with any form of technique or intent. He’s probably going to get a win from leg riding and it’s a disgrace to be honest.

Coker can’t be happy with that, a boring leg rider who just wants to hug someone with literally zero striking talent as your WW champion. I mean yeah, he won a lay and pray competition but he won’t be winning any fans.
