The UFC Fight Night main event between Holm vs Vieira, I think Holm got robbed.

Holm had Vieira against the cage for nearly all the fight.
Vieira is one of my absolute least favourite fighters, her fights are lackluster and her behaviour is so god damn annoying in the post fight intervies.

Holm should have won that fight and this is just the latest in a series of awful fight decisions. UFC judging is now getting beyond a joke and the scoring system needs reform and the judged need to have less subjective decision making power.

Zhumagulov should not have lost that decision to Moleno, I am so sick of these crap judges.

Herb Dean was right to stop the Rosenstrijk fight, but he really needs to get a grip of himself and the indecisiveness he has started to display in the last couple of years. It is disconcerting to both fighters and viewers to see him freeze halfway, unsure whether to commit to his decisions or not. if he keeps doing that I don't see how he can maintain credibility.

275 tonight, main card starts at 10pm so won’t have to catch up Sunday morning, although it’s only the final 3 fights I’m interested in.

EDIT - must have been looking at dodgy info, it’s the usual 3am thing for the main event gawd-dammit. Will have to settle for the football and watch tomorrow morning…

Of the last three fights:
-retirement warranted, out of the game too long, brutal KO
-rematch plz, but give just enough time for Santos to learn ground and pound as the lay and pray cost her - Valentina actually has a challenger now.
-superb BJJ related irony in the way the fight ended. Would have gone to the loser if another 30 seconds had passed and it went to decision. Absolute war.

My take:

1) Joanna deserved to lose. She talked too big and in the end she had lost her mojo and you could see her heart was not truly in it.

2) Santos gave Valentina the best fight I have seen anyone give her, she had her really rattled. If it had not been for that unfortunate head clash I think she would have won the fight and Valentina got a get out of jail free card there.

3) Glover could have and SHOULD have won that fight. I know he was fatigued but in the last couple of rounds he did not show good fight IQ when he kept just diving for Jiris legs when he was already killing Jiri on the feet. I think he will look back at the replay and be very disappointed in himself.

I agree. Incredible main event, surely fight of the year? They have to run it back after that? Loved it.

The women's title fight was the wrong decision in my opinion. Massive fan of Shevchenko but it was the wrong decision.

Ironically most of the fights other than the two I was interested in (the main event and Guram’s fight) turned out to be the entertaining ones and there were a helluva lot of KOs. Less fight nights in the Vegas HQ and more out and about with a big crowd plz.
