wow was just a rumour few hours ago and already offical.... no wonder why diaz didnt turn up at the press conference today.

I think the way carlos is hes got a good chance against GSP guys just got confidence and goes for the kill, last thing GSP needs is flying knees to the body/face or vicous power punches....

I think Carlos knows this is how gsp has been winning hes not gonna let gsp dictate the fight for 5 rounds, considering carlos been knocking out top guys where gsp couldnt like dan hardy all he has to do is work on take down defense and just go for gold, I think he could pull an upset here.
 
GSP is like watching barcelona score 1 goal in the first 5 minutes then passing the ball about for the other 85 mins to ensure the other team cannot score.

Silva is like watching barcelona pass the ball about for the first 5 minutes to gauge the setup of the other team then exploiting their weaknesses and scoring multiple goals for the rest of the match.

wow reading the news now... I think dana white said well he couldnt be bothered to turn up to the media press to prep his big fight so simply called his camp and they had no idea where he was.... so he just called carlos and offered gsp fight and he cried on the phone and rang back later saying yes.

Dana white then said hes gonna find it very hard to deal with one angry hawiian. In fact they should do Nick Diaz vs Bjpenn, for no1 contendership:)

I think Nick Diaz has proberly heard the news by now and is proberly crying at this point, just goes to show you Nick Diaz does things his way and ignors Dana white...and well Danas the boss !

Woah! When I read that I thought you were just giving your opinion. I didn't know it had actually been switched up! Diaz really is his own downfall. Shame he's a ****ing douche.

Condit is an absolute animal but I wanted to see him fight Penn and Diaz to take on GSP. Argh that blows.
 
Jeez, wtf is Diaz's problem? Dana throws him a massive bone and gets crapped on in return. Wouldn't suprise me if he gets fired by the weekend. He's done it to others for less. Not turning up for the promotionals, not even a call? That's a total disrespect.

Talking of douchebags - Koshcheck is in against Matt Hughes after Sanchez is injured. Bahh, was quite looking forward to that fight. Hughes has no chin anymore and the sport's standup has passed him by. Doubtless Kos will spark him out, but I'm gonna pray for a 'double kill unbreakable choke tangle'. 2 utter scumbags from what I have seen of them.

Nice segway!

Not enjoying all these good cards being spoiled by pull-outs etc (injuries etc cannot be helped) but a lot of original fights have been changed this year. Which is why I think maybe Dana clamped down hard on Diaz. That and he's a ****.

Diaz is a tool honestly. Deserves all he gets. Why pull out of the biggest fight and opportunity of your fighting life, unless your shaking in your boots. And saying that, he didnt even pull out, he ran away and acted like a child, typical Diaz.
 
He's posted a vid, driving in his car whining about missing the boxing match he was trying to make while still contracted to Strikeforce. Whining about 'dealmakers making deals' like he wasn't kissing Dana's arse in his office begging for the GSP fight and a new contract. Not once did he say sorry or offer an explanation about why he's allergic to aircraft seats.

This is actually a way more exciting fight!

He didn't deserve an instant title shot anyway, if he wins this there is reason to give him the title shot.
