Does anyone think the prices of some of the cars is a bit mad? I want the Shelby Daytona coupe but it's 10 million credits
and it's not one of the level rewards. The race cars in Forza were no more than 350,000 credits so to make it nearly 30 times as much seems a bit harsh.

True but it isnt all bad, you can still drive those mega expensive cars on any track you like, you just wont ''own'' them.
some of the tracks get a little monotonous in season mode Ive found (after two complete seasons) otherwise game is incredible Ive only used a Fiesta Zetec and Vauxhall 220 and Ive won all the races except one (which is a little suspicious in that one driver won by 10s on an oval when in all previous I had been about that ahead of everyone else)
Sometimes the AI can go a little crazy Ive found (like crashing into you right at the start)
The detail really is astounding and the richness of the colours (cant remember which one now but one track in autumn and it looks phenomenal to me)

There is also an old Ferrari that costs 11 million.
I've been going through the events list all the way, but i've not been resciving the achivments for the seasons.
If you go through the event list, you won't get the season achievements.
One thing that would have been nice would be strong spoilers, when you move a conventional car into R3 you're still stuck with the same 125/200 Spoiler, which is a third of, if not less than that of conventional R3 cars, which can make the handling skittish at the best of times
Would have been nicer to have stronger front lips/spoilers that are available as a normal car reaches R3/2/1 levels

Stock reventon? Just took mine down a long straight and hit about 170 on Sunset Infield, should have my veyron very soon, so will take it to le mans
Yeah a stock Reventon!! On the proving grounds ring circuit. Got a saved pic (zoomed from the outside on the speedo)

So, in order to get the year1-6 achievements i have to do the season play thing, even if ive already completed the individual events separately, thats sucks, as ive done quite a few events from the Event List, including a couple of the Championships... sickener.

I've done the same thing as well. :/
I keep having moments like this, started with the Fiat 500, 2004 CivicTypeR, NSX-R GT, 911GT2, VX220 Turbo, and E30M3 and now im playing with the Viper SRT10. Lvl33 is done, hopefully get to 40 tomorrow.

I just spent about 4 hours creating a barricade badge and I'm still not finished
So glad I got this game today (or yesterday now I guess). Was between this and Borderlands and I think I made the right choice!
Never really got into driving games but so far loving this, and just had some of the most fun I have ever had on my xbox playing tag! Blimmin good fun - will be wanting toget together for some racing tomorrow (today)

EDIT:
Sounds like Maple Valley, it has an evil turn at the bottom of the final hill and if the car is too stiff it can lead to a right drama.. In FM3 that drama will be quite entertaining now that cars have the ability flip.

Eliot, if you'd like I'll happily take a look at the car for you, diid a lot of modding and tuning for OcUK'ers in Forza 2 and would gladly help you out too

Just as rich but from the opposite end of the scale is the New York track, I remember it from FM2, but its just so much more lifelike than I remember (and a couple of nasty s bends which can do the same if you arent careful
)One thing that is annoying me is on some races Im getting points racking up in the middle of a race right in the centre of the screen - Im guessing for drifts? - but it doesnt seem to make any difference in Experience or anything (would it be TC I have to turn off to get more points ?), can anyone shed any light?
