***The Official Forza Motorsport 3 Thread***

You don't have to win a race while doing it & it's easier to do it in free play mode so you don't have to worry about the AI cars getting in the way. Best track for the acheivement IMO is Fujimi Kaido reverse.

hmmm thats the track Ive been using - but why is Reverse easier?

Later tonight I will try a few different cars and see which I prefer

Anyone had a play with this yet....?

It's crazy!!

Has anyone else got one of these? Interested in some reviews...

Right then, I've been using the speedfreak for around a week now, and whilst at first it felt wierd and a little gimmicky, after a couple of days I'm really impressed - having the extra thumb support really pays off, and I've just done my personal best time on the Nurb with an R1 car.

£10 well spent imo :)

I'm currently stuck as to which car to tune up for A class. I've taken the recommendation of an Audi S5 and tuned it up to about 8 Speed, 7ish Acceleration and 8ish Takeoff with 6 or so Braking and Cornering but it seems to be both out-accelerated and out-cornered by a multitude of cars (for example a Murcielago completely outgunned me and a Bentley Continental GT had a go too.)

I was thinking of maybe trying a better cornering car and seeing how that goes?

Edit: Alternatively, does anyone have an awesome S5 tune setup they can sell me?

i used the NSX R GT for the A class races, works perfectly, think i modded it slightly but it is near the limit any way and handles really well

I wouldn't limit yourself to 1 car, I would recommend using one, getting it to level 5 then moving onto another to get the best discounts.

Also if you want to get some money together for later on use the cars you've won. I haven't even bothered adjusting the tuning of my A class cars after using the quick upgrade option, they seem to handle perfectly.

So far for my A class races i've used

Shelby GT500
Ferrari California
SL65 Black

All with a few minor upgrades to bring it up to A598-A600

As for tuning setups, try the storefront for S5 tuning set ups and check the most rated.

Might try that out later to see how it ompares to my Supra :)
Haven't really used mine online much as we rarely do class S.

They're just approximations meant as a guideline. Personally I wouldn't take them as fact.
You can have 2 cars with the same rating for handling and one will be easy and rewarding to drive with better cornering speed than the other that could be a pig to drive :p

My A class car is a purple (yes i know) porsche GT2. Always the fastest car, and good cornering :)

**Look at my store front + add if you want: I RYAN 3 I

My point remains :D
My Supra is set up to have as much grip as possible, then I just change the engine to change between classes :p

Not that I really use it much.

Anyone want a drifting tip for the MS wheel?

Drive in auto transmission, TC and SC off. When you turn into a corner pull the left flappy paddle. The duration is up to you and the car, some need a tap, others you need to hold it for a lil bit. Im not sure if this just engages the ebrake or if the car attempts to go into reverse but its a lot easier on the wheel than hitting A and seems to produce a controllable drift. I managed a 6000+ point drift on sedona park RW in a 4wd lambo gallardo without even trying.

Just been trying to play some public racing. Seriously - what the **** were T10 thinking in getting rid of the old Forza 2 setup. It takes numerous attempts to get on a game. Then you always find it full of tards who cannot drive to save there life :(
It's so disappointing. Atleast there are plenty of OCUKers on in the late evenings to race with.
