Im sure there is a "1000 drift points in one move" achievement - going from memory its on the first row of achievments at a guess no 5 or 6

The other thing I wanted to ask was what you do 100,000 in - free play or season mode (I presume free play so it doesnt matter so much if you lose the race itself)
 
Drifter - Earn over 1,000 points in a single drift section. 5G

During any single race, press
leftdpad.png
, to make a drift counter show up in the top right corner. As you approach the first turn, turn like you normally would and press
a.png
to make your car 'drift'. Keep hold of the drift, making sure you don't spin out, until you get 1,000 points in the green counter in the top right of the screen. Once you do, straighten out and you will get the achievement.

Still confused as to why Im not getting the achievement though, when thats clearly what I have done on a few occasions this morning yet not getting the award:confused:

hmmm this is suspicious - Im getting my drift counter right in the middle of the screen, not in the top right (I presume near the lap counter)

Im certainly doing drifts and getting points racked up and winning the race but only tried in free selection mode rather than career

It doesn't have to be on the first corner, I got it midrace in the Audi R8 V10 race at the start of the game.

You made sure you don't already have it and are not trying to re-achieve?

Your score will be big, green and central, thats your drift score for the current, active drift, the top right is your total for the race, lap and best lap.

Don't want to open up another debate of FM vs GT but in my opinion, all of the Gran Turismo games have been superior to the first two Forzas when it's comes to fun and gameplay.

However this version of Forza is absolutley fantastic.
 
I've enjoyed all of the GT/Forza games I've played. Not played Forza1 and not played much on GT5-P. Agreed on the second point though :D
 
Would someone help me with the selling of a design vinyl achievement? I have a Ford Focus RS design in my Storefront. It's only 1000 CR and is tagged as blue yellow. My GT is blackvault87.

achievement is definitely still greyed out rather than lit up like the other two dozen or so I seem to already have

yeah thats exactly how my "score" has appeared - large, green and in the centre of the screen, I will have to try it in career mode see if that makes a difference ( single lap race, but certainly no "total" drift score appears anywhere on my screen, as soon as that particular drift score disappears its gone for good)

PRESSING LEFT ON THE DPAD CYCLES THE - oops - lap timer display between drift and lap time modes its subtle so watch closely, have tested this myself in single race and career.
 
Can't remember off the top of my head who sent me the R3 Mine's R34 Skyline, but its a total beast now, will send it back tomorrow (Don't have the xbox on to check previous owner ;))
 
Picked this up for £13.07 (had a £20 gift card and some points on my card) ... what a game. Many times better than forza 2 - i'm just trying to get the 100,000 drift points but can't seem to come close. Whats the best track to do this on?

Would any fancy gifting me a decent drift car that might help? I just blew all my earnings upgrading the M3 GTR I won to R3. You can only use half throttle in first and second or else it goes nowhere :D
