***The Official Forza Motorsport 3 Thread***

This may have already been asked and covered, but does anyone else have trouble getting the VIP car pack from the marketplace? I click on the Aston Martin DBS (for example) and it says I need to purchase this from the marketplace. Click on ok and it comes up but then suddenly an error message appears saying that it is currently unavailable.

Does anybody else have this or is there a fix for it??
 
That's just an error the collectors edition was/is the only way to get a VIP car pack.

I'm feeling a bit burnt out on this game I've covered nearly 4200miles according to my profile anyone topped that and still raring to go? I've barely touched it since MW2 came out.
 
Need to get back into this. just so hard to find time what with all the stuff I have to play - and I have only bought a fraction of the games I am interested in!

Guess I can take my time with this one though... hopefully by the time I go back the MP will have more variety - unless it already has?
 
Hello anyone else having connection problems when playing online tonight in the UK, keep getting stuck in lobbies and when i do play a game other cars are jumping about
 
I just had a message saying i had been gifted a car from Team 10 and didn't realise i had to click on it to recieve it. Now, i had a bunch before and just expected the cars to be there and deleted the message (bout 5 i think i was). By deleting the messages and not clicking on them does this mean i have missed my chance of getting the cars ??? :(
 
I thought they said a while back that wouldn't be possible to patch in :eek:

Good stuff though, that's going to probably be a big download though! Lot of animations to do.

It is a tiny update, took 2 seconds (literally) to download.. Most the animation functionality must have already been in the game..

Shame my MS wheel is receiving some 'mods' (Clutch switch down on the pedals) as soon as I get it back together, I'll be giving the game some proper time!

I dont often use the cockpit camera but its a nice little touch for those who do. One thing I did notice was that on the M5 he goes to change gear with a proper shifter and not with the paddles?

They do it in the racing cars that should have paddle shift too. I find it distracting.
 
The bloody ai in hard mode annoys me SO much.

They just t-bone you off the track or shunt you as hard as they can as you brake for a corner grrrr
