***The Official Forza Motorsport 3 Thread***

I'll get some shots of them up tonight I'm sure :)

Been weening off Forza a little bit since I told myself "You're not playing any more career or online until all career R1, R2 and R3 races are done!" then MW2 came out, now I need to, again, work on my time management! :D

Some very nice cars indeed in the DLC, not tried all of the cars yet , but here are my findings so far...

Nissan GTR - Seems as easy to drive fast as reportedly in real life, I shaved 2 seconds off my Audi R8 5.2 time around Silverstone in this beasty - steering is ultra responsive, the car feels fast and planted at all times - the engine noise is very different to any other car as well. One heck of a motor.

Ferrari Italia 458 - Probably the nicest Ferrari to drive yet, dashboard speedo looks a little Commodore 64 but the most gearchange is instantaneous and the handling is sublime, beautiful beautiful car.

Mercedes Stirling Moss SLR - This is a drift monster with a low down engine roar to die for, I spent half the Silverstone circuit on opposite lock with the biggest smile on my face yet, , this reminds me of the pre-war Silver arrows racing cars that astonished the public and turned motor racing on its head.

Aston Martin Lola - This car is insane. 215 mph bursts at inbetween the Mulsanne chicanes and sharper turn-in than any R1 car I've driven yet , managed a 3.25 lap even after making a pigs ear of Arnage , expect to see this car topping the leaderboards.

Quite a few body parts for the R35 which is unusual for a DLC car, kits from Top Secret, C-West etc.

After this screenshot I put the Top Secret bits on mine as they are quite discreet yet a slight improvement in my eyes. :)

4 bolts to secure it to your desk? are your permanently attaching it to your desk or something?

Bolts usually come with the wheelstands or cockpits.
Fanatec uses the same size as G25 which I think are 6mm or 7mm.
Usually an alan-key headed bolt. However these are only about an inch long so if going through a table youd likely need longer ones.
Yes and I dont understand Fanatec messing up on dispatches of these particulary as they had issues with the CSP and GT3RS dispatches in the past.
They do great products but man they paff around on certain things, really frustrating yet 3 product launches and they keep doing it.

Look forward to your comments, and a "owners" thread has been started at gtforums which hopefully will get a group of people dsicussing the wheel at length.

Have to get the Download Pack but looks great.

Oh, people are saying the GT-R's main LCD display is animated..

Might have to check this out tonight.. just need to get some MS Points...

What would make me happy is some sort of resolution on the sound issues, but this pack will put an end to at least some of the inane posts over at forzamotorsport.net with it's inclusion of the 2010 Nissan GTR SpecV.

They are working on another title update (a.k.a Patch) that they are trying to complete before Christmas..

I don't have any sound issues myself, but hope they do fix it, because it does seem to be driving people up the wall!..

As predicted earlier bad news for multiscreen owners!

DLC has to be purchased for each console/screen to appear on the additional screens. Although only 1x Gold Account is required.
Your car on the other screens becomes a Black VW if you only purchase the DLC for the centre screen/console

Just been playing about with the porche panamera, it also has animated hud with tyre pressures and boost gauge as well.

Jag XFR is exactly as i hoped it would be, powerful, big and unwieldy, going to be my new drifto monster.

Damn... was going to wait a little while, but all the good feedback on the car pack was too much!..

Just got 2100 points online and now enjoying the GT-R!
