***The Official Forza Motorsport 3 Thread***

Picked the Limited Edition version up new for £30 the other week, love the LE cars :D

Loving it so far, the graphics have been upped a lot from F2..
 
I love this game to bits. I use a cheap logitech DriveFX as my official MS wirless racing wheel broke on me. this logitech one is much better made but it lacks force feeback it only has axial feedback.

Although im a good 0.5-1 seconds slower on most laps using the wheel its much much more involved and fun.

Im not bad at most of the track races but holy hell on fire how do people do them long mountain races? i constantly slide wide into the barriers. Im sure its becuase im taking the wrong lines but i refuse to use the green and red racing line indicator. I play with assists off bar ABS and use manual without the clutch
 
Use the handbrake mate ;)

Seriously though, but slower into the corners will give you a much faster, cleaner exit (ooh la la!)

I have the drivefx too and just couldn't get into it with forza, which was a shame, but much easier to pick up and go with the pad rather than wiring myself up every time I played!

Which cars are you having issues with in particular on Fuji K? Maybe upload a replay to your storefront with your issues and post your GT and we'll take a look, generally easier for someone else to see your problem! :)
 
Well according to this thread over at forza central we're looking at some new DLC in the form of a car pack on the 12th of January.

I'm waiting for them to release a group C pack with a C9, XJR12 Jag among others...that would be sweet.

I am confused with this game though; the acchievement to do a time trial, where are the time trials to do, I can't seem to dinf them anywhere :confused:

Took me a while to find these too; they should be in the leaderboards section, but I can't confirm it at the moment because my 360 is currently offline.

While I'm here, has anybody tried buying an auctioned DLC car without purchasing the DLC? Again, I'd try it myself if my 360 wasn't playing up :mad:

It won't let you buy a DLC car if you don't have the DLC. Even if you could buy it you would not be able to use it as it would just have a padlock symbol on it. You cannot gift DLC cars either same as in Forza 2.

I just got to 45, so Porsche spider :D:D can't wait to get the r8s though and r10 and, when I have the money, r15 and Aston lola
