***The Official Forza Motorsport 3 Thread***

Still playing the demo as i won't be able to get the game until friday.

Can someone do me a favor please and see if it's still possible to do time trials as i just tried and i couldn't get the leader board to come up at the track selection.
 
Apparently the leaderboards/TT mode for the demo has now been shut, I think the japanese release is the 22nd and scoreboards have now been closed to:

A: Reset and wipe all leaderboard data, and I assume this means wiping demo data
B: Collect the top 1% of each category/event from the demo to see who gets the special prizes :)
 
Mine arrived this morning and I've played a few hours so far, enjoying the game but I'd forgotten how god awful the 360 wheel and pedals are.
If frex gp do end up making their wheel 360 compatible I'll sell a kidney to get one :D
 
Anyone noticed that the racing/sport/etc exhaust upgrades are not affecting engine sounds? Or is it just my car selection :/

Sounds are great anyway, just would have liked some difference in sound when the exhausts are changed :o

Its just harder for folk to go down from something like a G25 that they may be used to when playing X360 with the Official wheel.

Turbo S though blows away even the G25 FFB and the belt drive is awesome.
Best mainstream wheel on the market by far.

Confused about one thing...

On the 'posters' for the event selections, in the corner there is a PI rating e.g. F 200.

What does this relate to? I can use a car that is E 250 (higher rating than F 200) in those events, so what does it effect?

I hope they've got longer drag races too. Would be great to do a 2-3 mile straight line race with loads of stupidly powerfull cars, slipstreaming each other at 250mph, seeing who can be the one in the lead as you cross the line :D

From what I have heard:

Take a Honda Fit, do a lap.

Buy a racing exhaust, do a lap.

Unequip the exhaust, and buy race cams, do a lap.

You should have 3 very different sounds :)
