hello all

compared to the 7900gtx or if anyone used acclero, how quiet is the fan on the 8800 gtx in 3d mode aftera while of playing?

Stock fan/cooler is very good indeed,i cant hear it while playing game`s tbh,i would only change my cooler on this card if i was going to watercool it.

first impresion of it is ohh no not another Ultra, but i,m hearing some good feedback about it.

is your system silent build?

The drivers are pretty good, still a few issues with certain games but that's to be expected this early.
Nvidia are using the new CP but it's easy enough to hack to the old one, and the XtremeG versions have both :)

TBH the new CP is ok, takes awhile to get used to it but when you re-install drivers as often as I do (with all the beta releases) you get to be a pro at setting everything back up. :p

anyone know if it will fit in lian li pc7 plus with asus p5b deluxe/wifi and the cage have 4 hdds ?

The graphics card will touch the hdd bay, but Im not sure how much it touches it.

Just got my 8800 GTS in the case of my new build. Everything at stock 7742 in 3d mark 06...

But most of all I'm so impressed by the image quality - I feel like I've just bought a £400 monitor rather than a GFX card for £290 :cool:

*Even* windows looks good, ffs! :eek:

What does everyone use to show off their 8800 to their wife/girlfriend/mother/imaginary friend who doesn't get why you spent all this money? :D
