Don't forget shooting 1 hour of video takes up ~7GB.
There are better things to shoot one hour of video with and you wouldn't keep it on the phone.

i don't think anyone on here is arguing for having no sd slot. i certainly would love one and have a redundant 16gb card in a draw loaded with music
its just learning to live with it.
Apparently Samsung are looking to push the official update over wifi/3G before the end of this week (from a guy that works at Samsung).
I just navigated to a website that does some browser checks and it reported mine as Safari 4 Mobile browser![]()
grrrr i ordered mine ages ago![]()
Very nice. Still no sign of mine though![]()
Can you take a pic of case opening with phone fully inserted?![]()
How is it? Got one ordered, few days later though![]()
I like sleeve cases rather than placing phone bare in pocket because it limits friction wearing away the phone, and random bits in your pocket scratching it. Its probably not much of a problem in back pocket as it is front though...
Simulatorman, I take it you have one these phones?
What are your thoughts?
I'm trying to decide between another Android handset or an iPhone.
Has anyone tried Google Catalog on their SGN yet?
We are aware that the new stock has had an update applied to it to fix the volume bug that was present in some handsets from the previous batch of stock that we received. We would therefore expect the update to be available very soon for the earlier released handsets.
Update b) Delivery enroute! also the volume bug is confirmed as fixed in new handsets. Samsung UK distribution is also stating that previous buyers will get OTA – this seems imminent as our new batch seems to have the fixes applied

We have had confirmation today that the updates for the Galaxy Nexus are about to begin. This will be done in batches over the air.
Yesterday we did receive information from our UK distributors that the update had already been completed on the new stock, but this was not the case.
However, this morning’s news means the update will be available very soon for new and existing customers and some customers may be prompted to install the update upon powering up their machine for the first time.
What other way were people saying the update would be delivered?
Does anyone know why i don't have an email app icon? Only a gmail one? I've added my ntl email account ok in the settings but I have no way to view / send email from that account?

Hi @darrenmoore. I am sorry to say that we do not yet have a timescale available for release of the the ICS update
Hopeless!
Honestly, they are just unbelievable. Where's the transparency? Where's the customer service?
I'm genuinely surprised at how bad it has been. They really don't give a ****.
