How do you go back in an app or phone back to home screen?

Rumours circulating that Google to launch Android 5.0 (Jelly Bean) in Q2 2012 with the idea of either a stand-alone 5.0 or combining 5.0 with Win 8.0 in the same tablet PC. Android 5.0 is expected to be optimised for tablets and will integrate Chrome more closely to push dual OS. Taiwanese sources make comments about 4.0 adoption being slow:

Comments?

Bull.
Jelly bean is 4.1, not 5.
5 will be years off yet.

Any chance you can share what widgets your using, how you got the 6 rows of icons instead of 4/5 and how you got rid of the softkets etc please buddy?

I assume your using something like LTM for quick controls on the home screen?

Sure, I'm using Apex launcher which can have up to 7 x 7 grid.

Widgets: SwitchPro widget, Aix Weather & Panda Clock No1 (I prefer mClock but that's a battery hog)

To get rid of the softkey, instructions are here:

Just got a couple of questions for you smokedog...

1. How did you resize the widget to got the full width of the screen?
2. How did you get rid of the settings from the menu bar at the bottom of the screen?
3. How do you get 6 icons across the bottom?

I have Apex launcher installed if that helps.

Cheers buddy

When ICS gets around to being released on other devices such as the SGSII, what will stand this hand set apart besides the impressive screen? I'm just wondering whether to get this, the SGSII or wait for the SGSIII??

The screen is one of the main features tbh, seen as though you're using it all the time.

The other main features are the notification LED and NFC - will only be useful once Google Wallet launches officially here. I also prefer the ergonomics of the Nexus over the SII, but that's subjective.

You will have the next version of Android within weeks of release gather than 5-6 months later. Samsung aren't even releasing ICS for the SGS so it's possible that the SGSII won't even get Jelly Bean.
