Not a sales ploy - just wandered into phones4u looking for a galaxy note to be treated to a full on Galaxy Nexus display and to be told they are expecting stock tomorrow - yes the 7th

There is no way they would set up a massive display with over a week left to release if they aren't expecting it and that is what the manager confirmed to me.

Contract doesn't run out till January but I can early upgrade now.

Amen to this Internally the Ora launch date is still November but I have my doubts. Doesn't support "HD voice" (AMR-WB)/UMA either which means I guess neither has decent support in ICS - was really hoping for this too.

no the chap above told us all that p4u were getting the phone today based on seeing some advertisement in a shop... a few of us went to p4u and found that not to be the case

No, someone at P4U told Paul O'Brien (Modaco founder) that P4U were getting them today.

That is where it all originated from.

It has fewer megapixels but megapixels mean absolutely nothing.

Less megajizzles doesn't necessarily mean poorer quality photos...

camera, sd slot and GPU is where it loses out to the SGS2 - everything else on the nexus is equal or better.
